Locker room to Siberia? Where are the investigative reporters?

not holding my breath on this one..something happened..and it couldn't have been good if still not signed

He'd rather go to a team where last call is 3am ...........

Talk about "shadow roster"...

I'd prefer we never use that term ever again. Not many things bother me, but that always has for some reason.

I don't actually like that term either, I think it's kind of stupid; I was just joking that this feels like a literal case of being on a "shadow roster"... Having a number and a locker and being around the team and in the locker room, yet somehow not actually on the roster.

Except John Abraham wasn't given a number or seen in the locker room by reporters

no he didn't..only that crappy erica girl and that dolt mike lokyo or whatever his name was said "pats are where he will end up

Maybe he's working off a suspension on the DUI. Available, with practice time, in week 11.

OK, I don't understand him being given a number. But I do understand him not being signed. He wasn't ready to play against Chicago, and would likely be inactive against Indy. If this is indeed the situation, it seems reasonable for Belichick to wait until after the bye. What is the downside, other than someone else signing this valuable potential resource. So, we'll have another 2 weeks to see which special teamer is cut or put on IR.

Perhaps, Belichick just decided that he was no longer a good idea, That does seem unlikely.

This is BB we are talking about. If he could keep a practice squad player for an extra hour by signing a desired Free Agent temporarily to the medical staff, he would do it (as a good HC should).

I'm not saying this is the case, however, if reports are true and the new guy has a locker then it's one definite possibility that this is just BB being BB.

BB really loves screwing with the press, the fan boys and to his detriment Das Kommisioner. He simply can't restrain himself. Probably figures that Roger is too busy hiding out after his disastrous last press conference. I know that my greatest career detriment was not restraining myself from occasionally tweaking the CEO. It was worth it, though.

Free-agent DT Alan Branch is here at Gillette Stadium. Look for him to practice today and an official signing to be announced by Patriots.
