Jerrah and Rex. You KNOW It has To Happen

After watching the veritable circus that took place last night in Dallas, it further impressed on me the INEVITABLE that must occur.

Let's face it. The stars are all aligning perfectly and in synchronicity.

It will be THE best show on earth when it happens.

I'm getting a new popcorn popper machine.

Given that Jones fired Rex's brother, doesn't seem likely. But it sure would be entertaining.

What? He's going to fire The Ginger and hire Wrecks? After a winning season?

Please, oh Mighty Football Gods! Please let this happen!

My oh my, but it'd certainly be entertaining.

I think rex will be raiders hc next season.

I think any team would be beyond stupid to hire Rex Ryan as their HC.
If you want an inept offense and a defense that works hard to get ranked high in yardage rankings at the expense of being in the bottom 3rd in points allowed and never getting a takeaway he is your man.
If you want him to do something to embarrass your franchise roughly once a year, in addition to the daily embarrassment of promising way more than he can deliver, you have your guy.

Never will happen. Garrett isn't going anywhere because he is a straight up "Yes man" for Jones and has no real power and doesn't seem like he wants any either. Which is exactly what Jerry wants.

Rex Ryan sucks as a HC. After this debacle in NJ, who would want him?

Bears fired a 10 win coach to hire a CFL coach. It happens.

It's also Jerry Jones, he dissed his coach after winning a SB then fired him after winning his second straight SB. 6-2 is nothing, especially given how horrendous Garret has been to date.

We all agree he is crazy, but predictable - No.

Keep in mind that Jason Garrett is one of Jerry's pet projects....I found him, I gave him the chance, I was patient with him, I found a coach where nobody was looking, I found the next Sean Peyton (who was an assistant before he went to New Orleans.) Jerry did the same thing to Quincy Carter - he was supposed to be the 2nd coming of Michael Vick.

Also remember that Jason Garrett had three 8-8 seasons, yet he was not fired. Can't tell you how SICK Cowboy fans are hearing JG say: "It's a process..." Fans were fed up with him as they would be with anybody that after saying all the right things just can't deliver. Somehow, he is two game shy of being 8-8 midseason, so he's not going to be fired. Again, this is one of Jerry's pet projects so he can say he's the mastermind of making the Cowboys a champion. That and he will probably extend his contract but not pay him that much, but then would another team want Garrett as HC? I doubt it.

He didn't fire Jimmy Johnson, btw.
In any event, you don't fire a coach who has been mediocre and finally seems to have the team going in the right direction, then hire one who destroyed a franchise.
"A CFL coach" is very different than a proven failure.

A lot of teams would have drafted Manziel at the right point int he draft.
Drafting a QB was a legitimate possibility for Dallas considering Romo underwent back surgery that had his future in jeopardy.

If I had to choose between Rexy and Garret I would choose Rexy any day of the week. Not that I think he's a good coach but I can't stand Garret, I've been following Dallas in the last years and absolutely stinks as a coach, he is as dumb as it gets.

rex will still be the HC the jets will fire the GM

I'd personally think Pete Carroll would be funnier. Don't think he isn't a tad dishevelled in Seattle now.
