Right. 13 catches and 3 TDs over the last 4 games vs. 4 catches and 0 TDs over the FIRST 4 games and that's NOT rising production. What-ever dude. You're working from a different dictionary than I am.

Yes, I'm looking at what's actually happening over the course of the season, or at least significant periods of time, which is how you determine "rise" and "decline" within a season. You're focusing on one game, which is how you play "3 up, 3 down" with Felger on Tuesdays.

8 games total
5 games with 0-1 receptions, including 2 of the last 3 games

It's beautiful not seeing Brady force balls to Edelman almost every passing play. Defenses can't only game plan vs Edelman anymore.

That's definitely one thing that I think we can all agree on.

As fans, I think we'd all like to see a big splash at the position of WR. We've been lacking a physical, deep threat for a long time now.

I'm not sure about the value side of it in the bigger picture, but all we'd need would be to get past the AFC and into the SB for this year alone to make it worth it.

No. I'm not. I'm focusing on thirds of the season. The FIRST third, he was pretty much invisible, 4 catches and 0 TDs. The SECOND third of the season, he was not invisible: 13 catches and 3 TDs, which would be a pace for 52 and 12. I'm pretty sure people will take that from the #2 TE.

No, you're not. If you were, you wouldn't have made such a foolish claim. And "thirds" of a 16 game season? Who are you trying to kid?

The one thing that points to some kind of deal with Tampa Bay is the relationship with Licht. Belichick has always had a history of having specific trade partners he makes deals with (Jerry Angelo, Al Davis...etc..) and Licht clearly fits that role now. I doubt Jackson ends up a Patriot but I wouldn't rule out some sort of deal with Tampa Bay.

Just don't need vjax in NE. No other reason except he isn't needed.

Mason Foster!

Ah. Of course. I see how it works. “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

No, it works like this:

Neither 3 nor 4 games is 1/3 of a 16 game season. You were lying about your 'focus' claim, because I'd already shown your position to be incorrect. I was trying to put it politely. You couldn't let it go. Here we are.

Again, his last 3 games are
1 catch
0 catches
7 catches

There's no 'rising' there. It's just one productive game among three.

So you would rather have Amendola or Tyms out there?

Tell me why Vjax is needed? How many good guys do you need, is he really what people say he is? After the last few weeks I don't think there is any proof that NE needs this guy. Most 3rd or 4th receivers are cannon fodder and blockers anyway.

Obviously I mispoke. But go ahead and reassure yourself that I don't know the difference between a third and a quarter. I love how you continue to trim your little list at 3 games so that you don't have to include the 5 catch 1 TD game.

There isn't a single person in the world, other than you, who would look at a player who has 4 catches 0 TDs in the first four games of the season adn 13 catches 3 TDs in the second four games of the season and not agree that represented 'rising production'. Not one. But we understand. You've committed yourself to the whole 'this was the worst trade evah!' thing, and that's the hill you're gonna die on.

The winner of the AFC wins the Super Bowl this year, imo. The NFC is very weak and the projected playoff teams are all extremely beatable. With that being the case, I want all the firepower possible to beat out the AFC contenders and VJax is firepower we can use.

Obviously I mispoke.

You should have left it right here. It's not apologetic, but at least it's a concession that you weren't getting things right. The rest of your post is just nonsense. I've posted the numbers. Your argument was crap. That's just the reality of things.

Instead, you doubled down and made yourself look ridiculous. Again....

He's yet to have even a 2 game stretch with more than one catch in each game. Hopefully that will change with the Broncos game, but the actual numbers prove your argument false.

Why are you so stuck on how many catches the back up TE has? He is 17-17 for 182 yards and 3 TDS as the BACK UP TE. He obviously is not going to be a huge part of the game plan, but if he was, he would have a lot more catches since he hasn't dropped a single target yet this season as it proves he has trustworthy hands.

I'm fairly confident everyone knows who looks ridiculous here.

The numbers prove you wrong. You tried lying about your "focus". Those are the facts. Whether others choose to be willfully blind to your posts' obvious failures isn't really relevant. You and I both know you clowned yourself. You should stick to hiding behind the "disagree" button.

Yes. I lied. This is pretty sad, even by your standards. Such as they are.
