Revis and Browner gave us our best CB pair since Haynes and Clayburn. Brady and Gronk were other worldly.

and Fonzy wasn't even dressed....CB depth chart >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Easley did pretty well in jones' spot......

Brady and Gisele celebrating the win.

Broncos are not gonna know what hits them. Gooooo Pats!!!!!!!

Just imagine Brady and a healthy Gronk in the post-season FINALLY. It's been 3 years since we've seen it.

Something odd when I looked at his game log is that last season Edelman had 2 bad games right at mid-season in a row as well when he combined for 3 catches for 18 yards in the two games.

I said in another thread I think he might be dealing with an injury or he caught the flu from Vereen because he was not himself today and they were spacing his reps a lot.

Okay, so maybe a bit of a funk for Jules...until he fields a punt.

I think defenses might have keyed on him a bit more in the last couple of weeks, but with Wright, Gronk and LaFell kicking it up a thousand notches, Jules will shine again soon enough.

Some post game thoughts which have hopefully not been talk about enough.

#1 OL play. The entire line was great in pass blocking and very good in run blocking (between the 20s). It is clear to me with Connolly-Stork-Wendell we are giving up some goal line beef and 4 stuffed runs at the 1 yard line showed that today (1 was a QB sneak but same principle). I don't think there is much you can do about it as this is clearly the line you want to go with.

#2 Solder - Solder looked awful for a while. He seems to have settled down now and hopefully can continue to. He is back to being a solid LT. I think he played the whole game last 2 games and it was not long ago he was being pulled for Cannon. Someone might want to check this though cause i am not 100% on my facts here perhaps. Will have a tough match up next week.

#3 Easley - I think this was perhaps Easley's best game of the year. Not his natural spot but doing what the team needs him to do. He is at least holding the edge well.

#4 Nink - Speaking of holding the Edge this is something Nink has not done recently but did a lot better of today. The pass rush is still not good but i think they held up well and didn't let RBs bounce to the outside for bigs games as much as they have been.

#5 Browner - This was a good day but a mixed bag as well with some bad things. Browner however has looked better each week. I think the penalty against him should have been a no call but whatever. He did get away with one early.

#6 Game plan - The Patriots dared the Bears to run. They didn't but could have if they committed i think. I expect near the exact same game plan next week. It might help being able to practice it this week.

#7 Butler - I think he was out there more than Arrington as the #3 CB. I might be wrong though but it be interesting if that is the case and what it might mean. (don't know for sure though.. also mis typed this as Dennard at first. lol)

Heh. You managed to edit it while I was getting this post ready to make fun of you!

Butler looked pretty good in limited action.

This was actually the fifth straight game where Cannon got some playing time in relief of both Solder and Vollmer. It looks clear to me that this is some kind of planned rotation, rather than the benching that many assumed it was earlier.

These are not the droids you are looking for. When did a Pats secondary ever perform this well?

I think Logan Ryan was out there more as the #3.

I almost felt sorry for the Bears and then I remembered this

I wish Belicheck being the football historian he is (in the same spirit as the Doug Flutie dropkick) put Wilfork in the backfield at the goal line.

Although the Bears are in the other conference and we don't play them enough to consider them rivals, I love the fact that the Pats are 7-1 against Chicago since that debacle of a Super Bowl, and that many of those victories have been absolute beatdowns.

He's got a cold or flu. Of course, ebola has the same symptoms as flu if you're looking for something to worry about.
It might be a good strategy for the Pats to hint that Gronk has Ebola. No defensive back will come within 20 yards of him.

I hope Bill went into the locker room and said to the DL and LB "If I see any of you doing a Tulloch-bration, you're immediately being released."

Seriously. What possesses someone to copy the same dance that tore the other guys' ACL?

They'd need to get a better handle on him to catch it.
