We know who Brady and Gronkowski are. But Lafell is becoming an absolute beast as well. His rising has really shored up a weakness and turned it into a strength the last few weeks. All Tim Wright does is excel with every opportunity he gets. I think he took a step to a larger role in the offense today.

Can't say enough about the growth of this oline. It's like night and day and a reminder of things are not always as bad as they appear. BB is not full of **** when he says they are still in training camp with the oline. They have definitely found a formula and package that has worked and kudos to the coaches and the players.

Forte makes almost everyone look bad so I'm not going to ride Collins for looking overmatched. There are only a handful of players that can compete with Forte and even they will get beat from time to time.

Without Jones and Mayo I never expected them to look this good. Secondary is elite and playing at the top of their game. The addition of Ayers is off to a great start. Wasn't sure what he was going to bring but he didn't disappoint today. Solid pickup and I'm sure he felt good to be back on a winner again.

I like their chances next week.

Interesting to know what's happening with Edelman. That's two bad games in a row. I'm not worried but at least we don't have to rely on him now.
Something odd when I looked at his game log is that last season Edelman had 2 bad games right at mid-season in a row as well when he combined for 3 catches for 18 yards in the two games.

I said in another thread I think he might be dealing with an injury or he caught the flu from Vereen because he was not himself today and they were spacing his reps a lot.

What a game by the offense. Perfect.
The run defense though...they have to do something about that.

Like I said, I'm not worried. i'm sure he'll be back.

Win game, not many injuries. Run defense can be better.
But another week of no 'iapatsfan' on the board. His 7-9 prediction is getting close to the danger area.

Next week is going to be tough, so he just might return if we fall behind early. Still though, something catastrophic would have to happen for the Pats to end up 7-9.

Time to get rid of Brady, when Jimmy came on he threw 100%

Somewhere, someone is saying:

"What is wrong with this team? Defense gave up 23 points. Two two point conversions. Awful! And Brady - 5 incomplete passes. Come on. His passer rating never came close to 200. That Belichick can't draft or trade. I want Mankins back. The Krafts are cheap. Edelman is finished forever and will be banished soon. Revis is late and Brandon Marshall caught a pass on him. Ayers only had one sack so he sucks. We don't have Jones or Mayo, so we're doomed. Pats cheated-Bear-gate!"

Beautiful game.

That would be BB in the locker room ;)

Yeah I am not concerned either, it is best to have Brady getting others involved. I am sure if he needs a big first down or something Edelman would still make it happen.

I was in the hospital for the first half then listen on the radio to the 3rd period and watched on TV the remainder, an awesome game. How about that washed up Brady? Now I will watch the first haft with the DVR

My favorite non-play part of the game was when the Fox camera crew panned over to the Minutemen, and one of them was using his musket as an air guitar to the music the Stadium was playing. Frikkin' awesome, that. :)

The thing is, I could see that being a legit picture. I couldn't imagine huntin with gronk if he hunted. I bet he would make camp fun though
I think I'd be nervous to be in the forest at the same time.

How much was Ayers in there and how'd he do? I missed half the game.
Can Gray be the feature back? He looks kinda small can he carry it fifteen + times a game? He's looked good everytime I've seen him in action.

Gray might be SHORT (5'9 6/8"), but he's 230 lbs.. So he's compact.. He's more of a bowling ball than MJD is.. I think that Gray could get 15-20 carries a game and be good. 17 rushes for 86 yards.. That's 5.1 YPC.. Vereen and White didn't do nearly as good running the ball..

He's got a cold or flu. Of course, ebola has the same symptoms as flu if you're looking for something to worry about.

Vereen had the flu and was out of practice for some this week - - cannot be ruled out.

Yup...wearing gronk jersey to job interview tomorrow...only seems right in my book

Bring on Denver baby

I hate to say this, but Borges was right. He said that Revis would be lights-out in response to the public embarrassment this week. He was.
