Not so much "been a fan longer than you" but why is someone a Pats fan? You're a fan by birth. You're born in the Boston area/new England why would you not be a Pats, Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox fan? unless you have some fami8ly history of rooting for another team, if you're born and live in Cleveland, why wouldn't you be a Browns fan? If you're from SD, why wouldn't you be a Chargers fan? It's beyond me. Being a Boston fan is a birthright and we're lucky to have had great success over the last 15 or so years after so much garbage. I just have a problem with people whom I perceive to have cherry picked my team as their own...I straight out asked "inclevelenad" how he/she became a fan and he/she never responded. Hey, he/she could simply just lie and say they're from Walpole and have been a fan for 30 years...

With all due concern for avoiding hyperbole, I cannot help but consider that your post above may perhaps be the most pathetic thing I have EVER read on this website.

The sheer ignorance and backwardness of that post can only lead the reader to have complete sympathy for you.

Being a fan of a team is a conscious choice, not a genetic occurence.

What you just stated is that people are predestined sheep. That someone is born into their circumstance and has no choice over what they believe or do because of where they born.

You just wrote a Declaration of Sheepledom.

The fact that you actually wrote "Hey, he/she could simply just lie and say they're from Walpole and have been a fan for 30 years..." is the topper. Honestly, that is beyond sympathy. Soemone should feel even more pity than mere sympathy for you thinking that someone should lie just to fit in.

FCB02062, The Middle Ages called and want their mindset back.

As is perfectly obvious, it isn't.
That appears to be how he feels.
All I care about is people arguing in a civil manner.

Puhhleeez... Jesus talk about moronic statements. Is having Boston/ New England accent a choice or a environmental occurrence? You are heavily influenced by the sports teams in you're region if that is what's on your TV radio newspapers.

How many can say they saw them play in Fenway Park???
How many can say they saw Garroppolos first TD pass live???

Ironically, Not FCB.

And that means NOTHING.

So what is your point that you and FCB are critical of?

You beat your chest about how your're a better fan than most then your thread title is "I Don't Care. I can't Take it Anymore"

If you can't see the irony in that, that's funny.

Did you understand what FCB wrote?

Here it is again. Read it s-l-o-w-l-y (or have someone translate it for you):

Seriously the two of you are hilarious.

s "I Don't Care. I can't Take it Anymore"
Its
It I don't care. I can't stand it.
Couldn't stand it last night either.
The reasons why are well documented in this thread.

One of the nicest things of being a Patriots fan is that it means most likely your roots are from one of the best educated and most intelligent areas on the planet. The best aspect of this forum is that there are an awful lot of very smart, very reasoned people who post here and make incredibly salient points while arguing them (usually) with logic and evidence. There should be a rule here that in order to post one must have more synaptic connections than lottery tickets scratched.

Thats a very informative post. And I am not questioning them to be argumentative. But who really knows what the numbers are outside of the Pats.
So far I've seen about 4 different variations what money is leftover under the cap and your post may be the most accurate one.
But the common denominator in all of them is that they are in fact under the cap which has been my point from the start. When you compare Brandon Lafell to Emanuel Sanders and Amendola to Welker for not a hell of a lot more diff in coin,I mean really?. As a huge fan I got to ask what the hell are you doing here?
Yes I know they are 5-2 to the Bills, Dolphins, Jets and Vikings and the like. And yes the present system that they use has been successful. But there some good examples where it hasn't (see Reche Caldwell).
I believe sometimes when they insist on being the smartest guys in the room all the time it doesn't always work.
Unfortunatley this won't be the last time somebody says "How come we can't get players like that?" this year. I won't be the only one either.

Ignoring the fact that they tried to sign Sanders and had they succeeded the first time then Edelman would not be. Patriot, instead they have Edelman, Amendola, and added LaFell this offseason after Sanders decided to go to Denver.

You were dead wrong about their cap situation as well as the signings and chronology of them , basically your thread was an epic fail.

Do they have money under the cap or don't they????
You can bet your ass that the number crunchers in foxboro would have figured out something if they needed it.
Figures fool and fools figure I don't care how you spin it they have money under the cap.
And now after some key injuries the O and D lines are made up duct tape and bailing wire.
That very well could be severely exposed in the coming weeks.
The only epic fail is having moron fanboys not acknowledging it.
I'll still be praying they beat Denver. They'll need it.

Thanx Jays52 but I'm sure everyone knows all these things about me. Sometimes, I feel like calling up a great surgeon and having my arms extended so it would be easier to pat myself on the back. BTW I always make saline points out of stale bread, a little olive oil, cracked pepper and kosher salt. Toast them up lightly and spread fresh foie gras and capers on a whole serving dish full. Serve with a crisp Charred-on-hay and piccadilly relish.

Every team is under the cap, they have to be, so the only fool here is you.

Until Mankins was traded Pats were only about $4-5m under the cap.

I'm a footy pajama guy like the rest of you. I know enough to check to see if their soiled once in a while when something starts to stink.
I'm not going to swallow the company line when I hear they did all they could to put a competitive super bowl contender together.
UP TILL NOW. They don't pass the eye test with me. But it does not mean the seasons over. But its my opinion and you got a right to disagree and give yours.

No one can replace 3 of 5 Offensive linemen with newcomers without disruption. Neither can Belichick, but he can and has minimized the disruption to the first half of the season.

FCB and Patardoofus are perfect examples of why a lot of people around the country hate people from Boston. Loud, all talk, know everything, myopic jerks who actually don't even understand the subject they are talking about.

Embarrassing.

Its like the Pats are the only team under the cap. What a revelation!!!!!!

I have a newsflash for your two. Everyone on this site wants the Pats to go 19-0 every year. Yeah.....Got it? But if they lose a game or arent putting up the fantasy points of another team most of us are not going to run around here and cry like ****ies.

FBC and I are critical of the Pats because we want success and hate watching Manning get his ass kissed bty the media and basically have puke on your shoes proof team around him. While Brady once again has to nurse maid a bunch of 2nd rate recivers learning once again a difficult of fence.
What's mid rate about Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell? Edelman may not have had a name as he was a college QB but he's turned into a damn fine WR.

The Patriots have taken the approach that Tom Brady can improve players around him. I wish they would trade in someone like V-Jax and re-work his contract to help extend other players but the reality is, losing Aaron Hernandez and his fat contract has hamstrung the Patriots.

Life is about timing. Unfortunately for the Patriots, the timing when one considers dead money isn't on our side for the moment.

First, I am pretty sure FBC is a Jets troll posing as Pats fan. He has only shown up on this board after a loss or when there is a massive ***** session. Still wonder about you.

Second, *****ing on a message board is not going accomplish anything. Do you really think Kraft and Belichick read this board and make strategic decisions based on the posts?
