Broncos-Chargers

I understand that. But does it really matter if they are better than average among average teams right now ? All they have to do is get through the competition.

It is all about who is the best team in January, not October. I have said this a dozen times this week. The best team in the regular season has only won the Super Bowl twice in the last decade since the Pats last won. In fact, six times during that time, the Super Bowl winner played Wild Card weekend with two being road teams.

Manning just had a hissy fit at his own fans, and the announcers just thought it was part of his greatness.

If I had played the Omaha drinking game tonight, I'd have Karen Ann Quinlan'd myself.

No one's beating denver in denver..don't see them finishing worse than 14-2 either...so pats really need to win out...

Refs are pathetic when they try to even out the calls when the game is out of hand smh. Nfl keeps letting missed calls like that fumble go unpunished smh

Pats won't be winning out...**** happens and will happen.

why the **** is manning calling a timeout in the 4th qtr with 1 minute left? and a 2 td lead?

plz give me a punt return, then a on sides kick, then a quick hailmary td

just kidding the refs will call a phantom penalty on the chargers

I See Denver being 13-3. so Pats need to beat them and only lose one more game to get home field. At this point Im confident the Patriots are the second best team in the AFC. Im not buying into Indy yet

The Broncos are clearly the best team in the AFC, and possibly the league, right now. But they also haven't seen, for example, their defensive leader get knocked out for the year. Their one major injury was a completely mediocre running back. Sometimes it's about luck. If Demaryius Thomas cuts funny and tears his ACL next weel, their offense goes from incredible to merely good, and probably not good enough to win the AFC. Sometimes it's about luck.

Can you imagine what the refs will let denver get away with come playoffs? I don't see how anyone can beat them AND the refs in the playoffs....especially at home.

You forget who is the QB. The biggest big time loser in the history of the NFL. Denver is this good at week 8, wait until the last 4 games, a lot can happen
