The person spoke on condition of anonymity because details of the appeal have not been made public.
The arbiter, former U.S. District Judge Barbara S. Jones, informed the parties of her decision Wednesday.
This could be tricky for the NFL in this case and cases moving forward, they could force Goodell to testify or risk losing their tax exempt status and of course contempt.
yeah they really really like money so I doubt it.If it hypothetically came down to that either/or, I wouldn't be surprised if they just gave up their tax-exempt status. The MLB already did, figuring that not having to disclose its financials (things like CEO pay, etc.) was more valuable than the savings from being tax-exempt.
