Both missed practice. That is a good trade off for the Pats losing Chandler Jones.

I hold off on any excitement until they don't practice Friday. Fuller was putting together a potential DROY campaign before injury, so his loss will be felt if he can't go. Bennett is more than capable of hurting us over the middle since we still haven't shown the ability to consistently stop the TE. In the end, I won't lose any sleep if neither guy can play.

More time to worry about Marshall and Jeffrey.

fuller will not be playing this week...he has a broken hand...would be like going against a defender with 1 arm if he plays so i hope he can go

Actually, he and his coach said the opposite.

The broken hand would not hold him out of the game. They didn't see a problem with that, believe it or not. He actually re-entered the game on Sunday with the broken hand wrapped up, until the hip issue caused him to come out. It was the hip which was the main issue.

If Fuller is playing we need to target him and physically/mentally drain him, I want it to the point where the last place he wants to be is in live action @ Gillette.

Can't we spare a 3rd and 17 draw play and just purposely tip the ball and have Gronk give him a nice shot?

I love my pats but I am so sick of always seeing our players taking the shots while we never give any back, some of you may disagree with me but I'm so tired of seeing this baby soft defense year in and year out, we have no attitude it's like these players don't get themselves jacked up before games. If the D isn't going to be physical, then let Edelman or Gronk do it, I bet both of those guys would love to ****ing lay someone out.

If the D was as physical as you want it to be...we would be flagged every play. The day of seeing physical Ds are over until the refs decide to let them play

The most obvious sign of a soft D is if they get ran on.

We can't at least just tackle someone with some aggression?

Brady hits his receivers in his TD celebrations harder than our D hits anyone on the field.

Can Brady rush the passer?

bennett called gronk the terminator of tight ends. :)

guess it wasn't a bad break then

Yeah, I was rather surprised myself when I read that. One more reason why that kid is such a great pick.

Supposedly, it's all going to come down to the hip, and I'm not going to lie--I hope it flares up this week.

he does look like some sort of Robot with that arm brace...I almost wonder if he wears it because it "looks cool" at this point.

Either way, this game is going to be a good test of our secondary. looking for big games from revis/browner

I wouldn't target Fuller that much if he's playing unless he's obviously gimpy. This should be a contest in which the TE's have a huge game.

If we had P Manning at QB we would have to avoid Fuller. One of the ducks might flutter too much.

the brace looks cool. think gronk said he's comfortable with it, plus it helps protect his forearm.
