Chandler Jones reportedly out for a month

They did? That seems like mere speculation to ensure blame can fall on the team.
Kelly said that he was playing behind guys who were less talented. Who knows what Pats were thinking? We are moving on with the gimp and the drunk. What could go wrong?

i know hip..i mean what's wrong with this hip...but we will never know
What could be a good sign though is that Chandler may've played hurt through this injury. If that's the case that is having three sacks (two getting called back) which is very impressive on his part.

With how he played Thursday, depending on when the injury occurred, being out may be more of a precaution thing to prevent a worse injury from happening. Regardless I'm really hoping he'll come back and have the same impact as he did before as soon as possible.

Non-sequitur. And a straw man at that.

Wrapping erroneous data in condescension doesn't make it any more accurate, Deus.

Nothing erroneous about any data, and a pretty spot on point, actually, Oswlek.

LOL!

The bold is exactly the point. We know he asked for his release, we don't know what NE was thinking.

It is impossible to be spot on when you misrepresent the other person's point. Simple logic, my friend.

You are incredibly smart, Deus. The arrogance is completely unnecessary.

Sucks in the short term but if he was hurt all along then this is the right thing to do.

BB and Patricia better have a very good game plan for the next few games...

But I didn't misrepresent your point. I mocked it.

Come on, be fair. If you're going to complain about misrepresenting something, don't you do it in return. ;)

Also, that wasn't arrogance. It's exasperation. I'm tired of the nonsensical defenses people put forth in the Kelly situation. That was absolutely on the Patriots. It's an embarrassment to this board when fans can't even admit something that obvious.

Of course we don't. But it is more than mildly interesting that Kelly thought he did know, and reportedly he was confident enough about it to request his release. If he misjudged the Patriots intentions, it is still difficult to see how the Patriots handled this well. What we do know is they released Kelly and hung on to roller blades Vellano.

Seriously! Can there just be one season where the team is not bent over and ravaged by injuries to key starters on the roster. This ******* blows!

Now that we have this news, it brings some perspective on the trade for Akeem Ayers.

Here is what I hope the trade for Akeem Ayers means:
- Ayers will play Weakside OLB
- Hightower will play MLB
- Collins wil play Strongside OLB

Here's what it actually means though:
- BB will troll the hell out of us and continue playing Jamie Collins at Weakside OLB :(

Red flag when he missed his weekly WEEI appearance earlier this week. I think this was the motivation for the Ayers move more than anything...they have probably known for a few days. Wonder when it happened? FG block at end??

Will you guys calm down? You're acting like it's a season ending injury. Bye week is coming up so it'll be even less game time missed in this month. He'll be back after a FEW games.

It is amazing to me how many threads on this board get driven into the ditch by guys who start arguing about arguing and then just don't stop.
It's really quite ridiculous.

Tommy Kelly isn't here. He's been gone for a couple months. Alan Branch is.

Get over yourselves.
