Understand a setback in any aspect of life is only a true test of faith. While doing the thing I love the most, at a pivotal point in my career, I've run across another situation where my faith is being tested. And by tested I mean the same God that brought me to this pivotal point, is making sure I still know why and where my blessings are coming from. So rather than sit around and try to understand this injury, I will use that time to reflect and appreciate the crazy amount of love that I have experienced in the past couple weeks. I will then take all this love and use it as fuel to get back to the plan God has for me. I truly love and thank my family, my friends, my teammates, my coaches, my fans, and all of Patriot Nation for all the love and support. #longliveKiDRiD

Hopes, prayers and wishes to you #22. Hope to see you back here next year and that you get that contract you deserve at some point. You've worked hard, been through ups and downs, but you perservere.

You can only have a ton of respect for a guy who didn't make excuses for his fumbleitis but took all the criticism and used it as motivation to get better. I believe in this guy and hope NE and him finish what they started, #warpats

Feel bad for him....He was gonna get a nice contract next year, probably not from NE though. Now.....a prove it contract at best

I said it then and I'll say it again - - BB was too harsh with him putting him in the dog house about the fumbles. The kid got a complex about it and started running too conservatively.

This is a good, hard working player who needs some confidence. He could be a top tier runner.

A big fan of Ridley's aggressive running. He gets the most out of his runs.

Hoping for a full healthy recovery. Good luck #22. Whether it's with us or with another team.

I think he'll be back with the Pats next season at what will likely be a very advantageous deal to the team. It's too bad, too. Ridley knows backs have two contract careers and he's going to miss out on a large portion of the capital he'd need to finance life after football. My heart goes out to the kid. Hard guy to not root for.

I agree., and felt the same way at the time. But it seemed to have worked. He over came that and his fumbling issues. Gotta love the kid. BB has no emotional attachment to any player. I guess that's what it takes to be one of the greatest

With my fan cap on, I really hope we extend this kid. I think he did some great things this season before injury.

Great player with a lot of heart. We better keep him
