I do question your loyalty. You come across like an entitled 2 year old.

I've been watching the Pats since Jim Plunkett was drafted. Plenty of bad seasons in there.

I've been watching since Babe Parilli arrived...

Pardon me Professor Einstein. You think a 27 point victory is less impressive than a 26 point victory.
Please explain professor. I got all day.

27 point shut out I might ad.
Child please the Patriots actually played them with AJ Green smh you're a sorry troll

Wrong again! They still have a chance as long as they make the playoffs. The warts on this team show up in the playoffs.
When you got guys like Sanders and Welker running up and down the field all night compared to undrafted free agents and undressed 2nd round pick. With a ton of money under the cap i think I got right to be pissed.
By the way i was going to Pats games before the best part of a lot of you were left running down mamas leg.
So don't question my loyalty. most of you guys come out the generation of pink hats.
i was freezing my ass off watching 2-14 teams.
Shut up you're a jets fan

After reading this ridiculous thread I just want to know how much Patradomous lost on the game.....

I guess some of us just believe in this team because we're hopeless optimists. Which is probably why I keep checking this thread in the hopes that it will provide something of substance... but it never does... it never does...

Was this a good exercise for you Postradomous? Did you get all the kicking and screaming out of your system?

I agree with the OP, the Patriots should have used all of their resources and left absolutely no room to extend Revis and McCourty.

Is it ok to be happy the pats are currently 5-2 (the win is win crowd) ...yes it is heck it could be worse. It is ok to complain that we dont look like world beaters just yet and we could have spent more in the off season (pass rush, lb, wr maybe)..yes it is.

For some this year was about where we finished last year and did we do enough to get over the hump since Brady isnt getting any younger. Im not sure we did.

Now does it mean the season is over and we cant get better or other teams get worse (injuries/trades etc). No it doesnt but lets just wait and see before we crown Denver (queue dennis green video).

I think we are in the prove it phase of the schedule. Squeaky wins vs teams with poor records isnt inspiring tons of confidence in the fan base and thats ok.

Some of us are homers and some are chicken littles. I will stay on the fence for now and remain cautiously optimistic.

Yes I did thanks for asking. Learned a few things too. Like Its the Colts that have the #1 Offense and #3 defense so far this year. Not Denver. So Denver the least of our problems.

Riiiiight ... I'll believe that when I see it, why haven't at least signed Revis now wasn't that why Mankins was cut??? Wasn't that supposed to happen when Tom restructured his contract for 50th time? That money was for Wes remember??
Bet they don't sign both. They'll be running in Tyrone Poole for another tryout.

After Real World's pumping up of Tuna's accusations against BB's "treachery" over the weekend, I would say this is what happens when Politics Forum creatures make their rare forays into talking Patriots football.

It's like Night of the Living Dead when the gravestones are tipped over and the zombies start walking into town........:D

Sorry. Couldn't resist. :D

You're very welcome. Obviously Denver has looked like the best team in the AFC thus far, but why is that panic worthy in week 8? Also, what makes you think the gap between Denver and New England is so large? How Denver looks versus the rest of the league has nothing to do with how New England matches up with them. If you want to point to the playoff game, yes they did lose by 10, but they didn't have Gronkowski, Talib, and many other key players. You can't call this a delusional take either, what I'm saying is reasonable.

Refresh my memory, which team signed the top free agent on the market last offseason?

While you are at it can you name the last time any team signed a player to a new deal 7 games into the first year of their current contract?

I realize you lost some money but you really are a great example of how batsh.t crazy some Patriot fans have become.

They had a chance to sign him long term during preseason.
That was everybody s thought when Brady redid his deal. They we're going to get welker signed.
There is no excuse for that. Last year's wideouts.Thompkins-raiders Boyce- washing cars.Dobson-who the f knows. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken crap.
Another whole new crew of wideouts to learn a difficult offense. That's how they treat a qb that made them a billion dollar franchise. Its going to catch up with them if they go 3-3 over the next 6 games I'll be ecstatic.

You can't name a team that resigned a player after 7 games into their first season so you are going to move the bar backwards and say they should have signed him to a new deal before he ever played a down for them? That is absolutely bizarre, and i would bet that has never happened in the history of the league. They chose to sign Amendola instead of Welker, and no one here lobbied harder for them to re-sign Welker than i did, but that was the decision, and when Amendola was injured Edelman demonstrated that he was actually a better player than either at this point of their careers, so i really don't know what you are b.tching about as Edelman is currently the best of the three and they resigned him.

As far as Brady goes the Patriots have paid him a ton of money ands surrounded him with enough talent to make him the most successful player of his era and one if not the most successful player's of all time, so once again I really don't know what you are b.tching about unless your idea of success is being the Colts or Rams in their heyday and scoring a sh.tload of point but winning fewer Lombardi's between them than the Patriots have on their own.

As far as going 3-3 I can pretty much guarantee that you will be in here shedding more tears and crying Mommy Make It Stop rather than being "ecstatic."

It was an entertaining tantrum but seriously bud, get a grip.

You forgot to answer which team signed the top free agent this offseason, i was looking forward to the answer.
