Every year it's the same thing "The Bronco's are the greatest thing ever. Why can't we put together a team as talented as them" Then we beat them in the regular season and they lose somewhere in the playoffs and all that great talent get's them no championship. It will probably happen again this year.

But from time to time someone always starts threads like this.

Broncos-33 min TOP- 24 points
Pats- 19 min TOP- 27 points

Broncos on the road vs Jets. Broncos -10 win and cover.

Jets on road vs Pats. Pats -9.5 at home no cover and blocked last second field goal for win.

Thanks for playing.

Elway signed all the missing links (Talib, Sanders, Ware) to win a championship. Belichick gave up after Revis, Browner,
and LaFell, leaving massive holes at middle linebacker and pass rusher. Moreover, BB created two additional completely
unfilled holes by cutting Kelly and trading Mankins.

You are revising history a bit here.

The loss of Mayo left the massive hole at middle linebacker. Not what the Pats did in free agency. Yes, they were thin at LB, but they had one of the best MLBs in the league in Mayo.

Prior to Hightower getting injured, the Pats had two very good edge rushers.

I didn't like cutting of Kelly, but if Siliga didn't get injured there wouldn't be a hole at DT.

The Broncos got a pick six off a stupid pass by Geno that he threw right to Talib. Let's not act like the Broncos dominated the game vs. the Jets. That game was very much a game until the final minute when Geno threw a pick six. The score was 24-17 halfway into the fourth quarter.

And the blocked last second field goal was on a kick that had a minuscule chance of being made and was basically a Hail Mary attempt on a 58 yard field goal attempt.

Gee, well it's all over then.

Wait 'til next year!

Silly Shmessy. Don't you know that teams always finish the year the way they start?

One of the ugliest performances I can recall in recent years: Baltimore losing 34-17 at home against Denver in 2012 after 2 consecutive losses, with their backs to the wall. Pitiful. Inept. Team lost 4 out of its last 5 games and just barely snuck into the playoffs.

I don't know if this will make you feel better but your anguish seems to be rooted in the fact that you are pretty clueless.

Denver covered on a last second "pick 6". Manning actually looked quite horrible through most of the game.

Football is a game of matchups. Denver got hammered by Seattle because they match up extremely well. The only team that has limited Manning in Denver to fewer yards per play than Seattle was..............the Patriots last year...........How will this work with a much more talented secondart this year?

Revis> Talib
Gronk> Any Denver weapon
Vereen> Any Denver RB`

BTW, the dismantling of Cincinnati a few weeks back was a much more impressive win.

Don't forget "the best team in the NFL after week 3" the Cincinnati Bengals.

Last week's "best team in the NFL" barely beat Oakland (like we did) and lost to Kansas City (like we did, but at home, not on the road).

In 2001, the Pats were 5-5 before Thanksgiving.

Good idea to invest in leg brace companies from all the knee jerking going on.

Howabout three weeks ago when everyone were talking about how during the Seattle/Denver game that they were clearly the two best teams in the league and no one is close? Now the Seahawks are sitting at 3-3.

Broncos made the plays at nut cuttin time on the road. In a game that was not necessarily a high priority for them. And covered a ten point spread which is very high for any road team.
The Jets lost to the Pats doing what no NFL team has ever done. Dominated time of poss. and rushing yards combined...and lost.
That tells you more about the Jets sucking then the Pats winning.

The only thing that can slow Denver Down like any other Team is Injuries have they lost anybody to IR yet? Their Offense is Super Guys aren't dropping many balls...If we don't fix our Offense somewhat I don't think we can keep up with them. Demaryius Thomas is turning into a Super WR he is just so dangerous with the ball in his hand. Demaryius Thomas is approaching Megatron's territory, Revis ain't holding him to one catch. Nate Solder is probably showing concussion systoms just thinking about Von Miller and Demarcus Ware. I remember some here on Patsfans in FA after Denver signed Ware said he was washed up...he looks far from it. Elaway the win now GM did a Great job in FA 2014. Denver is the Best Team in Football!

Or like mayoclinic said above the flavor of the week AFC team coming into Week 7. Chargers needed a late game INT to survive the Raiders and then KC went into SD and I know the score says otherwise but Chiefs kind of dominated them through much of that game.

LOL! You are going to spin this any way you want aren't you. We can go back and forth on this.

The Pats did step up when they needed. They kept the Jets out of makeable field goal range and then blocked the kick.

How about this being a division game where the Jets always play the Pats close minus one or two outlier games?

The advantage Denver has is it was bad in 2008, 2009, 2010, and average in 2011. They had early round draft picks and multiple first round picks in drafts over the 5 years leading up to Manning arriving. This allowed them to draft elite talents like D Thomas and Von Miller. These are players we are never going to draft because we consistently draft at the end of the round.

Demaryius Thomas was taken with a pick that belonged to the Patriots...

The Patriots then traded the Dez Bryant pick, and ended up selecting McCourty, Taylor Price, and Hernandez with the bounty from those picks.

To be fair to that trade, Hernandez+McCourty is a clear win for the Patriots... if only Hernandez wasn't a serial killer.

Division game on 3 days rest after losing the QB of their defense.

Yeah, but Von Miller was the #4 overall pick. Ryan Clady was the 12th overall pick. Not all their picks were because of their good draft position because they sucked, but several key pieces were.

Well. There are a number of ways to argue it in the Pats favor. I just picked a few. I was just making a point.

In past years I use to watch teams play and be amused on how inept and horrible they played after watching the Pats.
Yesterday I watched three games and saw three teams that looked better than the Pats. Indy,Denver, Dallas.
Didn't see KC beat SD on the road but I certainley saw KC crush the Pats.
face it they are a 2nd tier team. And there is no excuse for it.

An yet were 5-2 with this terrible roster with a bunch of time to get this team right. We literally go through this EVERY season, its getting old with you kind of guys. You wont even post after thanksgiving.
