Week 7 NFL games

Tongue firmly implanted in cheek of course....

I refuse to give the 5-head even the regular season crown. With his head, he'd just warp it for the next guy.

But Thomas doesn't block like Gronk..he doesn't block period. Graham probably can't even spell block

Will be interesting if the Pats use the same strategy against the Broncos as last November. Helps that Moreno >>>>> Ball.

Devin McCourty is a good player for us. But I don't see how any patriots fan can say they would rather have McCourty over Dez Bryant. I don't buy into the Dez Bryant isn't a fit for our system.
You need to sit back and realize just how pathetic our defense would have been without Devin McCourty to understand why it's a simple choice.

Win or lose tonight for the Broncos... very important game coming up in 2 weeks if the Pats don't want to go back to Denver in January again...
That's only if you're taking for granted that NE will finish with one of the top records in the AFC. We don't know that yet, though.

Mccourty a impact is more relevant to winning games then Bryant. 07 should of taught you something. Bryant wouldn't help win a SB, mccourty elite FS play will help us win a SB.

I think 2011, 2012, and 2013 should have taught you something. In all 3 playoff losses, we scored 17 or less points a game. Our short game was shutdown by the opposing D. We have no WR able to stretch the field. We lost these games because of our offense was not able to score enough points.

True. Still expect them to win the division and therefore be no worse than #4. Only one of the 3 AFC West teams in contention can finish ahead of #4.

Never hurts to have a H2H tiebreaker and a conference win....

2011 and 2013 should of taught you something ace. Defense in 2013 only made denver punt once. The issue wasn't the offense, it was the d ace.

2011, defense in the SB gives up the game winning drive after the elite WR dropped a Tom Brady, game winning pass.

Go all the way to 2007. The defense has been the issue. The offense hasn't. In the playoffs you face better defenses. But when your defense can't get the offense the ball or stop the other team you will lose. All of yall are fantasy geeks that want offensive numbers. Defenses win championships knuckleheads.

I spit my drink out when I saw that.

I think Dockett should have worn the troll face doing that... he'd fit right in there in Oakland...

Do deep threat WRs also block DTs and DEs? I swear our OL breaking down was a far bigger issue than not having a WR to loft up 30+ yard bombs to.

idk we only scored 17 and 14 points while in the regular season we averaged over 30. in 2011, we scored on the opening drive and didn't do anything the rest of the game. that long bomb to injured gronk still annoys me. same with the welker drop.

Very true

I would think anyone with any kind of football knowledge would agree with you. Dez Bryant is exactly what we have lacked since Moss His impact on this team would have Dwarfed the impact of McCourty.

We don't make the Superbowl in 2011. We had scrub DB's, you can debate McCourty at corner all you want but he was better than the scrub DB's. And he moved to Safety anyways late in the season.

Dez Bryant is on the bench because he can't get the offense down and runs the wrong route. Brady throws more than 4 interceptions in 2010 because of him. Whether he eventually gets the offense down is up for debate.

Baltimore has the best defense in the AFC, Forsett has revitalized their run game, and Flacco has rebounded this year.

I wouldn't be surprised when it's all said and done in late january if we have Pats vs. Ravens round three.

Too bad the Raiders were good in 2002 at least before the Super Bowl.

I would love to be able to think that the tuck rule and the Snow Bowl loss to the Pats ruined that franchise for 14 years and counting...

People making the Bryant over McCourty argument are generally looking at 2013 and 2014.

Those making the McCourty over Bryant argument are generally looking at 2010, and trying to figure out how Brady doesn't just give up and freeze Dez out of the offense. (Even the Cowboys were said to be close to giving up on Dez in 2011.)

How dare you try and take credit for all the work JaMarcus Russell, Rolando McClain, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Fabian Washington and Robert Gallery did to make sure the Raiders always suck.
