Insufferable Crybabies (Felger/Mazz)

Unfortunately, as this game ground on into late the 4th quarter I had a vision of a group of knuckle dragging, drooling men; Felger, Borges, Benz, Mazz and a few more.. all wringing their hands over some "told you so moments".

I could hear them all chanting, "We'll get you Belichick, wait until tomorrow".....

Seriously... Its funny that right when we blocked the kick to clinch the game, immediately afterwords I just thought FnM are gonna crap all over this win. And we are gonna have to hear about it until next Friday...

I might consider giving WEEI a chance from 2-6...

Dale is a middle-aged male cheerleader. Michael Holley is better than most on football. It is what it is. Most callers aren't rational so it's hard to rationally discuss football. Too many haters knuckleheads and mouth- breathers.

D&H is easier to take because, for the most part, neither of them have agendas. Agendas are what drives most of the asshat behavior in the media. One of the greatest oxymorons on the planet is Felger and Max's 'Agenda free Fridays.' Riiiigggghhhttt.

I guarantee that if the Pats had forced a 3 & out on the nyj last scoring drive (which is what it was looking like until another BS call on Browner) and had come down and scored a td to finish the game at 34-19 instead of 27-25 f&m would be schitting on the Bruins and in particular Lucic for most of today. Instead, we'll have 4 hours every day from now until next friday of the same crap. I usually listen from about 4-4:30 when i'm driving home, so dale & holley isn't an option because they're in their stoooopid "4 at 4" segment. ESPN radio provides a nice respite....

Attacking the fans right now because if the Pats traded for Harvin we would be saying how great the move was.

Typical straw man argument....felger is king of it

People who like Felger and Maz listen for an average of 47 mins/day.
People who hate Felger and Maz listen for an average of 64 mins/day.

Ya well i'm not listening by choice. I'm certainly not going to plug my ears with my fingers and look like an idiot in public.

First step is acknowledging you are hooked on F&M. Pretty soon you'll be admitting you secretly love ABBA and have season tickets to the Revolution :)

I like ABBA. Felger says they're cheap and won't spend to the cap.

Felger has all but admitted to being a Jets fan. I dont know if he means in a "my second favorite team" kind of way but he's made many statements to this effect (some stronger than others).

I don't think he's a Jets fan per se. He just desperately wants bad things to happen to the Pats because he thinks that's what makes for compelling radio.

He has actually talked specifically to his growing liking of the Jets and his being a fan of them.

He has stated that he is a "fan of the Jets" but wouldnt commit to saying he was a "Jets fan"..

.. but he was squirming a little bit in a self conscious kind of way like someone that wanted to.

I listened to about ten minutes of it. I love Felger:

"We have a rule that we don't kill people for what they haven't done and since the Pats didn't trade for Harvin, I can't kill Pats fans for being hypocrites and would be bragging what a great trade it is. So I will spend the next four hours calling Pats fans hypocrites because they would have bragged if the Pats traded for Harvin."

Yeah, basically that. It makes me want to reach thru the radio and strangle him when he says **** like 'We KNOW all the Pats fans would do X', in this case pee all over themselves if we got Harvin. No, ****weed, you don't get to speak for me.

He's a die hard Packer fan

From Wisconsin, even is one of the million of share holders

I just wanted to bump this post to the top to ask a quick question...

After the Mankins trade and the Chiefs debacle these guys were really piling on. It also included the release of Kenbrell.

I remember specifically Mazz droning on and on in his very whiny voice and saying "What are we doing here!!!" What are we doing here!!" They were just piling on Belichick the GM for doing a horrible job putting a team around Brady.

The basis was that they got rid of the best offensive lineman and Brady was left with a totally lackluster offensive unit. Belichick was wasting the last of Brady's good years by getting him killed behind a terrible O-line with no receivers to throw too.

I don't listen much to them anymore because they are awful but DID MAZZ EAT THE EXTRA HELPING OF CROW HE HAD COMING FOR CRAPPY ALL OVER BELICHICK??

I doubt he remembered or acknowledged it.

Very few of them ever do, which is why you have to be happy about guys like Trent Dilfer. They earn my respect and my interest in what they have to say going forward. I have ZERO interest in hearing what anyone has to say after they spew a lot of garbage and then never take responsibility for it.

From the little pieces I have heard so far there wasn't anything about him being totally wrong about how Belichick built the roster. Furthermore, we are one of the youngest teams in the league and poised to smash it for another couple of years at least.
