Made some big plays, got a catch taken away by a LaFell penalty. It was a full night for Danny.

But, seriously, well done!

That's, what, the third or fourth time this year?

Though the difference between this one and the previous is that this one was a horrible call. LaFell ran a route and was looking towards the quarterback. The defensive back just ran into him. The others were designed rub plays and rightfully flagged.

Yeah the flag to amendola catch ratio is almost 1:1 it's comical.

Best games of my Pats career:
1.) Opening game vs Buffalo, 2013
2.) THIS GAME!!!!

- Was a BEAST at kick returns. Straight up snatched that role. Official KR for 2014.

- Great adjustment to find Brady, break route upfield, make backshoulder catch while being wallopped by the DB.

- CLUTCH recovery on the hands team

Is there anything Amendola CAN'T do??

:D ;)

Wow, look. It's BradyToAmendola.

This all happened because I decided to wear #80 tonight. Not Amendola (I had on Troy Brown), but it was his numbers.

I also liked his KO returns, plus that onside recovery was huge, but that best is that TD catch, the ball was behind him, that was pretty much the same exact catch that Welker dropped in the second SB loss to the giants, that would have sealed he game for the Pats.

the broncos are the only team allowed to use rub/pick plays. that call was a joke.

anyway, great game for danny by his low standards. he's already done more than dobson will do this year!:D:(

But in all seriousness, a job well done by him. Is it a promise of things to come? I don't know.. but if he can finally find his place in the O, it'll be all the better for this team. My reservations with DA are due to his inflated contract, his injury history, and lack of production, but he's clearly a hard working dude who's willing to gut it out. He helped us win one tonight, and for week 7, I'd say he's earned a pass.....

Now we just gotta wait for Dobson to get on board.

Yep, that wraps it up quite nicely in my opinion. Very fair post.

While he's been an enormous disappointment thus far, I'm still not ready to write him off completely.

It was great to see Amendola as a KO returner, and active in the offense against the NY Jets. That was a spectacular TD catch with a defender on his front shoulder. He should come away with more confidence. It was also nice to hear Brady give him a compliment on the CBS post game set.

(I think Rich Eisen wet his pants when Brady sat down on the set. Marshall Faulk looked like he wanted to run away instead of being made to sit next to Brady and Willie McGinest at Gillette.)

I really feel for Dola, you can tell the guy is busting his ass out there and it's just not happening for him. I can kinda relate there...was great to see the guy have a nice game. Terrific catch and great effort on the kick returns.

I loved the look of him on kick returns -- decisive and aggressive, which we haven't seen from a Pats KR in some time. It's his job now, IMO.

I like that Brady pointed out there was nothing from Marshall.

Best moment of the interview in my opinion.

EDIT - What I really like is that there are so many little subtle things Brady and BB do that only New England fans pick up. Everyone else can have their opinion, but the some of their awesomeness is still our well kept secret.
