Definitely with you on the Revis play. That said, it seemed like the second/third guy in was laying up repeatedly tonight. How many times did ivory leg pump for extra yards while the late man in put his hands down on him and backpedal?
Surprised nobody has mentioned Walker. Thought he played a hell of a game today, he also makes the the 34/43 hybrid make much more sense with Jones/Jones/Vince and Siliga(sp?) coming back. Vince and either of the big body candidates (walker!) with Chandler and Nink outside make for a good hybrid front. You can "respectfully" run a 3 front with either end dropping, and can certainly run a 4 assuming we have LB help. You could also theoretically jump to a heavy 42 with some of the mixes of personnel...
Chung was mediocre(at best) with his lb duties tonight. Against the run he seemed poor (with Collins seemingly the reason tonight), but against the pass he proved a decent rush option.
Collins. I hope he still isn't healthy. While decent against the pass, repeatedly he looked awful against the run. One play in particular, dline contains, Hightower blows up his gap, and Collins gets blown up by 44. I don't know if 44 is a TE or a FB, but God Damn was that pathetic. In hindsight, that may have been the play he was grabbing his hammy after...either way, the kid needs to heal up, quickly.
