Pat Kirwin on RB James White

Kirwin and Miller just did a segment on tonight's game on their Sirius NFL show. Two observations from Kirwin:

1) Turnovers: Pats are +9 in takeaways. Jets are -9. A differential you almost never see this early in a season.

2) James White: Kirwin is excited to see more James White. Doesn't expect him to get 20 touches tonight, maybe 8 touches tonight but increasing going forward. Thinks he has Kevin Faulk style skillset. Said that he doesn't think the Pats run game will see much drop off.

Let's hope he's right about the run game not seeing much drop off. I have a hard time believing that myself.

So much for Kirwin's prediction. I don't think White is likely to get 8 carries in street clothes!

I am assuming that James White just isn't quite ready for pass protection just yet. Just a hunch.
