Gray looked strong in pre-season. I take this as a good sign for Stork or Connolly suiting up (otherwise only 6 OL).
We have 6 OL + Barker I believe.

Figured Barker and either Gray or LB Fleming would be the promotes. Now we know.

I'm not expecting the second coming of Frank Gore but I sincerely think Jonas Gray can be a physical runner and get some tough yards when needed.

Much as I would love to see Gray out there i doubt he sees the field unless they have more backs go down. hard to imagine he will be a part of the game plan when he was only activated today.

I have no idea how much he'll play but when he was activated is irrelevant, I'm sure they - and he - knew Sunday night.

Wait, does this mean that Browner is not activated?

Browner is already on the roster, so he does not need to be "activated." We still need to see inactives prior to kick off.

Don't think Pats would have promoted RB Jonas Gray if he wasn't going to play, but would project Brandon Bolden to still see more touches.

Jonas Gray was on the practice squad... which means he's been practicing with the team just as any other player would.

Hope you guys are right, i think he could help them tonight.

I always felt the PS guys were out there practicing but not getting the reps with the regulars that would get them into the gameplan.

Just hold the damn ball please.

From what I've seen in TC, and especially on a BB type of team, PS players are on the same level as the regulars and prepare and execute as if they're going to be activated anytime. Plenty of PS players have won the practice player of the week award (black jersey).

Quite unlike the Jets where Vick got caught with his pants down when they suddenly decided to bench Geno.

Gray is the guy I expect to see carrying the ball when the Pats are up by 14 points in the second half. Hopefully, he gets the most touches.

Glad to see Vellano wasn't activated. That bodes well for Easley's health.
