The only good news from that is browner and hightower may suit up. However, we need stork, fleming and connolly healthy for the broncos in a few weeks. Jets are going to have some dog in them on thursday for sure...

And yet, looking at this injury report the only two who've been ruled out are Mayo and Ridley.

Mayo, Ridley, Connolly, Stork, Fleming, Ebner.

Seems like at least one of Hightower or Browner will suit up, though that doesn't mean they'll play a lot of snaps. Just means there's no time to bring a guy on board who will contribute by Thursday, so the "inactives" are going to include some likely IRs.

I would be suspicious of this list because none of the other news outlets are reporting this, never mind the Pats beat writers (Reiss, et al).

I have been suspicious of that but even patriots.com lists those six as out.

The OUT designation was just an estimate of whether those players would have practiced yesterday had there been a practice, it wasn't a designation on this week's game.

That said I doubt many of them will play.

Look at the patriots.com injury report I linked to above. They have both the "Did not Participate" heading and the "Out" heading. Those six are listed under "Out" as in, "definitely not playing in game." They are not listed under "Did not Participate." These fake injury reports are so dumb. Did Connolly really not pretend participate in a practice that did not happen?

Assuming Fleming would have stayed at RG after the Chiefs game, that's the entire interior OL, starting LB, starting RB and a core special teamer all out.

Neither team practiced, the lists are estimates based on whether or not they would have practiced if they had actually had a practice. I wouldn't put much faith in the list until a real one comes out.

The confusing thing in this is none of the beat guys have said those other 4 were ruled out. You would have thought one of them by now would have mentioned that those 4 have been ruled out. Unless it was a mess up by the person that posts it on Patriots.com and saw that Ridley and Mayo DNP and were OUT and thought that because those other 4 DNP were out too.

That's how I am until I see a real injury report. BB has never declared a player to be out so early unless they have a major injury, like Mayo and Ridley.

When he was asked about Jonas Gray he said typically practice squad guys get called up the day before a game.

My guess is Jonas Gray and Darius Fleming get called up. Although if the 3 OL are out I could see Pats just going with Vereen, Bolden, and White for the game and adding an extra OL instead of Gray.
