Brandon Lafell

Pleased that Brady trusts him. This is a finally another connection besides gronk where the ball travels at least fifteen yards in the air. This will be very helpful in opening up the field come playoff time, if they can keep it up.

If LaFell can stay healthy, just watch what he does later this season. People are going to realize he was a good addition this offseason. His confidence continues to grow each week, and he is making more and more plays out there. A little patience means so much, but it's almost non-existent in today's world. People were ready to jettison Revis after the first game because Wallace caught a few passes. Unbelievable. LOL

The guys are new. Let them figure it out - individual players and the team alike.

I am happy with what I am seeing from Lafell. I was ticked when they cut Thompkins and played Lafell over him. However they saw something I did not. Maybe they saw how close Lafell was to getting it.

He has the best few games. I don't expect him to get any better at this point. Frankly he doesn't need to.

If Lafell can keep this up (not saying 90 YPG but the overall level of play) then that is enough.

Now I am looking to see if they can get Dobson or Tyms more involved as well as give Wright more looks.

In contrast, I celebrated when KT was cut. Not because I wan't a fan of KT. I was. But to me that meant that LaFell and in particular Tyms had shown more in practice and potential than KT. Since KT did not suck, that meant we had some halfway decent better players.

I Agree with in some way, but to cut KT there was the need for Lafell and Tyms to show what they worth on the field in real game time, not just practice, and i didnt saw them get any meaningful reps befroe KT was cut. i mean its one thing to be good at practice but sometimes its just isnt enough for the real game, and KT was pretty decent when he did play so that was a little shocker to me, but if lafell and tyms keep it up i'll be forgetting about KT in no time.

I don't know if they had to cut Thompkins to keep Tyms. I wish they had found another way to play with the numbers there. With that said, LaFell will soon be head and shoulders better than KT and is already surpassing his productivity. Sadly, KT flashed more in practices and preseason games than he ever did in a real game, including the game against the Saints last season.

The O in Carolina is night and day compared to our O. That's what LaFell was struggling with, but he seems to be getting more comfortable as the games march on. This team's individual parts keep getting better as the games go on. These past two weeks have not been a fluke. As long as injuries don't keep taking people out, this offense will be clicking come the later months. LaFell is going to give teams nightmares later this season.

Gym Rat should be gassed.
Loser lafell is too stiff from his most recent bulk. KT aka the Jerry Rice of work ethic has gotten his body fat percentage down to 7% while staying limber and explosive.

LaFell, Tyms, Dobson, Wright, Edelman, Gronk all on the field at the same time would be the greatest empty-back formation we've had in a long, long time.

Sweet baby Jesus it would.

The knock on LaFell coming out of Carolina has been consistency & hands.
He has shown steady improvement at both over the past four weeks.
The Pats receivers in general have shown great hands so far - in a small sample size.

LaFell's play can really help open the field.
It's a combination of better interior blocking, letting Brady step up in the middle of the pocket to hit the routes beyond 10 yards, and LaFell getting open where he is supposed to be.

I doubted this guy the first couple of weeks of the season, but he really has come around and it looks like he is one of bradys trusted receivers

...would also draw a penalty flag.
Unless one of them is the QB.

Literally that can't happen.

Apparently Edelman at left tackle.
If Troy Brown can play defense, Edelman can play tackle, right?

Rules violation aside, I wonder if this isn't a fake post by Garappolo trying to get Brady killed?

Nope. We'll need Edelman to suit up at LB at this rate.

turning into a nice piece for this O. Growing game by game and Brady defiantly has the trust
