In the past 2 weeks Tom Brady has gone from the QB many were suggesting was old and washed up, to a legitimate MVP candidate. Brady once again has proven he rises in the face of adversity better than any QB to play this game. He makes it work, last season Welker was gone, he adjusted by mid-season to Edelman, this season Mankins and his OL was depleted give him 3-4 weeks and he just gets the ball out faster to overcome it.

For those who have suggested moving on from Brady to Garopollo I hope that you have seen the differences between absolute greatness and youthful promise. We should all be excited to watch Brady finish out his illustrious career in a Patriots uniform and walk off the field in front of all of us who have been fortunate to watch him through the years.

I will go on record right now and say Tom Brady will win the NFL MVP this season, leading the Patriots to a 12-4 record, Manning may take the OPOY award but the MVP will go to Brady. Quote me on that…o_O

Don't know if you meant to throw a tribute to Rudy T with your title, but I like it anyway.

There's no QB I'd rather have at the helm than Tom Brady. Even though he's a x3 SB winner, I get the sense that he still sees himself as that 199# pick, and that chip on his shoulder has never disappeared... He's the kind of guy who says "It's over when I say it is", and I admire him so much for that attribute.

"Legitimate MVP candidate" is complete hyperbole (Brady's game today would be Rivers' worst game of the season) but I'm also not really sure it should be expected. He's played well the last two weeks for certain.

The MVP is not strictly based on stats, it is about who is the most valuable player to his team.

On the hyperbole subject, suggesting that today’s game by Brady would be Rivers worst certainly fits that bill. Brady had a 139 QB rating today, Rivers high is 131 this season, and Rivers has 1 game with 300 yards passing, so like I said complete hyperbole, Rivers has played well no doubt but hardly to the level you suggest.

Your a complete hyperbole.

If you doubted Brady then i'm not sure you can call yourself a Patriots fan as far as i'm concerned. You could legitimately question Bill because some of his decisions personnel wise have been absolutely mind numbing but Tom has done nothing but be great from day 1.

Enjoy him while you can.

Tom Brady's second half stats: 15-for-17, 274 yards, 3 TDs

wow
Pure greatness especially knowing how bad (except for Revis) you're D is playing and in that noise cauldron too.

The MVP only goes to "who is the most valuable player to his team" in your imagination (and even if it did, it still wouldn't be Brady right now).

Rivers has been the best QB in the NFL this year. Aside from this and last week, Brady has been average to bad. Look, he's had two good to great games, but he's not an MVP candidate. Not even close.

I saw that. Rudy T's quote was, "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion."

Those who doubted Brady should be ashamed of themselves the guys heart is what makes him great

And yet some here after KC wanted and talked about Jimmy G......those people look like complete idiots and i remember some of those names...

Brady should of been MVP last year.

I agree Rivers still has it locked down now but after today Brady has entered the race

Not only does Brady do more with less, he gets every team's best shot when we play them. Every team gauges where they stand by how well they do against the Pats.

I doubted him. Today he was brilliant. I fear we'll see the other Brady again before American Thanksgiving.

(1) amazing, amazing player (2) the most valuable Patriots player ever (3) a champion with an exceptional winning percentage. How can you not love him ? But to say that he hasn't shown uncharacteristic inaccuracy early this season is just illogical. He has missed passes badly. Unlike other seasons. Great player, glad he is playing better. Still not the Brady of 2004. Which is fine - if everyone (especially the D) steps up their game.

I NEVER had a doubt about Brady. All I ever said was give him legit receivers and keep him for most part upright to get a rhytym. Haters and Mediots were fast to judge that Brady was done, on his way out, QB controversy, lost his accuracy, can't throw more than 5 yards etc etc etc....
Keep doubting Brady and this Team and thats when we're at our best.

That KC game was a blessing in desguise, it woke up Brady and installed 2 TE system with confidence to include Wright, LaFell Playing like we expected and now Tyms with glimpses in pre-season able to be a deep threat (See his TD today, I guess Brady lost his accuracy long ball touch) last but not least Edelman who was Brady's go to guy can now have a balanced air attack with many formations & options.
