Bills may have a snitch inside PATS.

That's not the point. If this is true it means there is a leak and brings up the question what else
is being revealed?

Sorry, i wasn't criticizing you - my comments were more directed to Curran. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out revis will shadow watkins...not sure why Curran thinks it's news. If the bills were given more specific intel on the pats i'd be more concernd.

Oh boy, here we go, another big fine and loss of #1 draft pick. Somehow, this is about BB being sneaky.

It's one of two things

It could be Pepper and Spikes telling him that BB will probably put Revis on him.

Or

It's them telling him that they'll probably put Dennard on him with S help and Revis will take on the #2

Either way it's basically the Bills calling out Bill to put Revis on Watkins and if that's not part of the game plan then it makes it seem like the Bills made Bill change his game plan.

Plain and simple it's basically a little gamesmanship through the media

If they really do have info on what the defense will do then the likely scenario there is it's someone close to Pepper feeding him the info.

On the other hand, putting Revis on Watkins is just common sense.

I don't buy it, I think what's more likely is that Johnson knows BB as well as we know him and is surmising that info which doesn't take a genius.

I would love to see an innovative game plan that would have to do with hitting the receivers and switching off coverages and responsibilities.

Maybe start the first half with Browner making things miserable for Watkins with safety and linebacker help, then using Revis to watch CJ Spiller and any back playing a short zone which the Bills would not be ready for.

I'd even advocate sending Revis on one or two blitz packages.

This is the kind of game where you go away from what your comfortable with and completely shock the Bills with a unique game plan.

On offense I would take an opposite approach to the Bengals game and not try to force the run, and not go with Jumbo packages. This would play to the Bills strengths. I would start the game using Vereen and White as the main backs, alternating between Develin and Wright in a fullback / H-back kind of role.

More for pass protection or quick outlet for a dump off pass here and there.

But I would try to spread the Bills linebackers out in coverage because I believe that is the weak spot.

So I would use Dobson and LaFell almost as tight ends in this game as far as their route assignments: 5 yards here, 8 yards there.

Run the ball out the spread with Vereen and White; send both backs on wheel routes in certain packages.

Run a very fast paced offense, dinking and dunking and only choosing to go deep on a handful of shots - like a 1st and 5, or 2nd and 3.

Misdirection reverses will not work with the speed the Buffalo front 7 have on defense.

Brady will need to play one of his sharpest games from a accuracy standpoint.

We do not want to challenge their defensive backs deep often.

This would be my ideal game plan, I just think you need to go away from the normalcy of how they expect us to attack them. Catch them off guard in the first half.

mod edit - wall of text is no bueno

Yeah, I don't think he meant "found out" in the sense that someone is spying on the Patriots.

just a rookie WR hoping they put a big name CB on him so he can make a catch and get more attention

If reports are true I don't expect to see Browner until maybe the Chicago or Denver game.

I want them to run the damn ball straight ahead, like they did last week. I hope it's successful at first, but even if it isn't they need to keep pushing. That's when they're passing game becomes the most dangerous. When they give up too soon on the run and they go pass-happy, they mostly struggle.

Wow, that's a breath-taking view in your profile picture. Is that really the Great Wall? Did you take that amazing picture.

I thought this thread was going to be about extra points and a scheme by the Bills to block them.

Pepper Johnson does know a lot of staff members in pats organization. Just saying

So if Watkins wrong, you think somehow Belichick will feel compelled to change his gameplan so that he's doing what they said he would do? How do you figure?

Matching up Revis on a RB--even Spiller-- would be one of the worst instances of personnel mismanagement I've ever seen.
