Hopefully jets week since it's a short week. I wanted to see him too..but don't need him vs Bills. Want to see him light up jets however

Because it's a short week coming up, I'm actually scared that we won't be seeing him on Thursday night.

Well this is looking like a loss Sunday.

Stork out with likely a concussion, McCourty out because of bad ribs (wore the non-contact jersey), Chandler still limited, Hightower I doubt suits up, and Easley probably going to miss the game. Not to mention now Browner is a question which definitely hurts progression of getting into 100% game shape.
Why would stork be out? He still participated. Don't think he is out yet

Yeah because were supposed to lose vs cincy having all these players healthy too.. .

how did stork get a concussion??? jeez, cannon/devey at guard? lol

He didn't get a concussion, that we know of. He had a head injury and was limited in practice. We have no idea how serious it is. Once again the chicken littles arrive.

Time to toot my horn. I said at the beginning of the offseason that this was a terrible signing and that Browner would be a bust in New England. The guy had one good stretch in his career, is 30 years old, and clearly was never missed much by Seattle. He was a good player, though not all-world, three years ago. At this position, three years ago might as well be thirty years ago. Outside of that one good season, he has a grand total of four NFL interceptions. Seattle didn't even want him back.

Additionally, Belichick does not like bigger, physical cornerbacks and prefers guys who are fluid and quick, which is why this signing surprised me. It's almost like Belichick picks up some guys who he knows are not a good fit for his scheme, thinking he will come around, only to realize (after it's too late), that the scheme ain't changing. Sure- Browner may be a "situational" cornerback who can try to shut down a tight end of big receiver from time to time, but frankly, Jamie Collins can play that role just fine and I think the rule changes are going to effect Browner more than anyone.

Let's be honest, if the Dolphins, Bills, Jets, or Broncos has signed Browner this offseason, everyone on here would have been smirking, calling him washed up, and at the very best, a depth signing.

Based on what? McCourty, Stork, Jones and Hightower all practiced today.

Do you really think that Browner was signed to play a Jamie Collins-type role?

Then i shouldn't watch the game then...maybe i will go play jacks outside! Or maybe i can play dodge ball with the kids down the block. That's what i will do since this is looking like a loss based on reports that no one is playing and everyone is dead.

Premature much?

He has yet to play a down and you are already patting your self on the back because you said he will be a bust here? Great analysis. Hope more riveting information is to come.

How can a guy who hasn't played a down be a bust? Hey, Nostradamus, you may end up being correct, but is there any chance we might let this one play out a bit? This place gets more amazing every minute, not day, minute.

Also worth noting that pete carroll thinks highly of him as do a lot of seahawk fans. Last summer when the seahawks visited the white house, obama mentioned every legion of boom player by name except for browner. Carroll immediately turned to browner and gave him a glance as if to acknowledge him.

Cornerback Brandon Browner is a new addition to the New England Patriots injury report as he missed Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury.

Browner participated in the team’s walk-through on Wednesday. He was activated on Monday after serving a four-game suspension to start the season. This injury could put his season debut in jeopardy, and it will be one to monitor on Friday and before Sunday’s game at Buffalo.

Another new addition to the injury report is rookie center Bryan Stork. Stork was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice with a head injury. Like Browner, Stork was a full participant in the team’s Wednesday walk-through.

Luckily, if used properly, we can take advantage of his physicality and ability to jam the WR on the line of scrimmage--which would help tremendously against some of the higher passing teams that are coming up.

We'll most likely see Browner play most of his snaps against teams with immobile pocket passers, as the meme thus far with the Patriots defense is to play aggressive, man-press packages against these types of quarterbacks. On the flip, Browner probably would not see many snaps when the Patriots defense is matched up with the offenses quarterbacked by the mobile passers, since the schemes are more zone oriented in these match ups.

He will really have to play impressively to justify his salary then, if that's the case.

I honestly have no idea or prediction about how he'll be used. It's a mystery to me.
