Same for Easley but I kinda expected that.

Interesting though. Browner was not active for the last game even though he could have been and now that he is active he is missing practices.

Maybe he hurt something during his suspension. He should not be so out of shape after missing only 4 weeks he can't even practice. Also If they REALLY like Butler and feel comfortable with Dennard this could be the sign of a trade. Not likely but something to think about.

Gotta be hurt is my guess....so we probably won't see him sunday now. I wanted to see him in some type of action this week..

Damn. Well, that's disappointing.

I'll worry if he is absent tomorrow.

I've said before that I wouldn't be too surprised if we released Browner next year before the season as he has a cap hit of $4,7m cap hit then and might not be worth that. Would be more surprised if he was released this year as his cap hit isn't that big. Wild guess from here: But I could see the team release/trade him if they wheren't impressed with what he did workout wise during the suspension and wanted to send a message. I'm not to high on Browner because he is really limited athletically. I think he is our 3rd or 4th corner on the depth chart. Still think he is worth the cap hit he has this year. But could see a cut/trade of him to send a message if there is a reason to send a message because of actions from him. Or he just missed practise for some personal, Belichick approved, reason and it's absolutely nothing to worry about for his future here. Not saying any of this happened. Just that I wouldn't be chocked by that kind of scenario because he isn't irreplaceable.

We as pats fans have come to realize that anyone..no matter what/who can go at any time. You never know. I hope not. I have his jersey :)

He doesn't really seem needed for Buffalo's faster wide receivers. I expect Logan Ryan to get a pick or two in this game.

They just said on the PFW radio show he got roster bonus of 1 million by being on the roster now, can't see him getting cut now till the offseason.

He needs as many reps as possble at this point, already missing 5 games.

Hopefully the injury report says he missed it for something not football related.

That's why I am happy to buy the knock off jerseys now, if a player comes and goes, there is minimal $ loss, lol...

Always a chance it isn't injury related. All this means was he wasn't presented for the media portion of practice.

Hard to imagine an injury in yesterday's walk-through.
An injury during his five-game absence? Possibly. Certainly odd.
But with Revis, Dennard, Ryan, Arrington, Butler, not a huge concern.

If they were going to release him, that would have happened Monday rather than activating him. All that has happened since now and then was one walkthrough.

also worth noting, I believe he gets a $150K bonus for every game played.

Have to wait until tomorrow and see what's up with browner

Browner still gets a roster bonus per game of $150k (that's $1.65 M) and receives another "unknown" $1.25 million playing-time incentive per Miguel. That's almost $3M.

Given how he played in the pre-season, the 4 game suspension which puts him behind the curve, and how well the secondary is playing without him...would it surprise anyone if the Patriots released him or traded him to a team that is more in need of a CB?

Maybe he was at the movies.
