I think the only similarity will be that the Jets will play in back to back blowouts. But unlike the Pats, the Jets will be blown out in both games.

Even if I were a Pats fan from 1960 who appreciated the Jets for being the first AFL team to shut up those insufferable NFLers (the Chiefs became the 2nd the next season), I wouldn't bring it up in this thread.

I don't root for the Jests, however I will root for a small asteroid to take out Roger "ex - New York Jet scumbag employee" Goodell in the press box. Hopefully, Woody Johnson is sitting next to Roger Goodell. Two for the price of one!

Sunday after the game the Jests fan base must have thought, "well, at least we're gonna see the Pats get blown out too and in prime time, that's a relief, we still have a chance, the bills and dolphins are gonna suck later in the season.."

Not sure at least early on. Broncos havent started fast in most games and it has turned into blowouts only late. Jet defense will do somethings . This is only broncos 2nd road game and pats are playing their 4th in 6 games.

Actually, the first two games this season the Broncos got big leads and did absolutely nothing in the second half. Against the Colts, they were up 24-7 at the half and won 31-24. Against the Chiefs, they were up 21-10 at the half and won 24-17.

And the only blow out the Broncos have had this year was against the Cardinals. All their other games were won by one score.

My wife works in the animal welfare field. She sent me this email just now:

As I prepare to pass and say good-bye, I want to thank all the people that were responsible for giving me the chance I deserved, and all the people that help save other dogs from similar circumstances. Thanks to you, after a couple of really crappy years with Vick and his buddies, I was able to enjoy 7 years of love and fun adventures! I was able to meet all kinds of really cool people, and prove that even dogs saved from horrendous situations should get a shot to show what they are made of. Ideally, it would have been nice for Vick to reconcile with me and all the other dogs from that time, but that didn't happen. That's his choice, and that says something in my opinion. My choice, though, was not to allow that past to dictate who I am. As a result, I can say this in regards to my life: I Win!

Rex Ryan fires back at former Jets coach Herm Edwards | ProFootballTalk

Edwards was 39-41 as Jets coach, while Ryan is 43-42. Edwards had three playoff appearances to Ryan’s two.

Unless things turn around soon, Ryan could be joining Edwards on a television stage some day, and then they’ll have one more thing in common.

I'd like to see the Jest win by 1 point caused by 5 head forcing a TD pass on the 2 yard line because he didnt want to run it. Because we "know" how the Jest will do down the road.

Jets should sit all their QBs and go with no QB for the Broncos game. It will give them their best chance to win. Though, Geno will still find a way to be intercepted despite being benched.
