You know you are a Pats Fan when...

N/m... just reading something in my rearview mirror. Momentary distraction.

...when bills fans have been saying this is our year to win the AFC E for the last 12 years and you just smile and don't say anything

....you're still disappointed that Hart Lee Dykes was a bust. Yes, I was convinced he was going to be a great WR.

....you stubbornly refused to call Schaefer Stadium that other "S" name.

....you get a perverse joy out of pointing out to New Yorkers that the only NY team is Buffalo. But the armpit state of America does have 2 teams.

...you look away from the TV whenever you see highlights of SuperBowl XLII & XLVI

I feel sick to my stomach every time I see anything from those games

... when Parcells coming to NE, and media talking about Bledsoe (wait, people are talking *favorably* about our QB draft pick??) was like a dream....

nah. Philly invented that way of being a fan.

Imagine a map of the US with pins marking championships in hockey, basketball, baseball, football. Boston is well-endowed...so is NYC....Philadelphia has 1-2 the past 30 years - NOTHING in football.

So it's fun to see Philly fans hate their team almost as much as their opponents. Heck - they even throw snowballs at Santa Claus! A new medical category needs to be named for this kind of fan disorder. :D

Squish the Fish means something (bonus if you still have a tee shirt).

I do. And it does. (Although a mite tight). And I was there at the Orange Bowl.

You think it might have ended differently if Grogan had started.

It would be another 6 months before the "Overload R.E. Defense" was Figured out by the League's DCs. And da Beahs were no more.

You remember the Toilet Bowl.

??

You remember thinking that moving to CT is better for us than St Louis.

I did.

You think of 1976 as the good old days.

Kill that @&*#@ Referee !!

You remember that Foxboro is NOT the house that Brady built.

But Schaefer saved the Pats in New England, for only $7 million bucks.

You know what the "elephant' position is.

Petey and McGinnest say "Hi"

You remember a great 8th round draft choice.

Won't forget Troy, at Pitsburgh.

199 has a special meaning.

TB with a chip on his shoulder, even now.

A snow plow coming out to the field brings a smile.

Don Shula still gets apoplectic.

The name "Mosi" being a smile to your face.

Where has Rocky J Squirrel's compadre gone ?

You thank the good Lord every night that Kraft bought the team

Amen.

.

...Schick is bad, Gillette is good, and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with shaving, and Kraft is good, and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with macroni and cheese.

I thought he bought Remington Rand Shavers Company?

At a Sushi Restaurant, your boss orders a "Tuna Boat," and all you can think is "Yuck. I want 'VI Rings'.

...you're pissed off that Saturn still has more rings than Brady

Ah, crap. I meant "Tuna Boat" (Parcells) and 6 rings is based off BB's boat named 5 rings.

I failed :(

Watch it!
I grew up in Philly and am old enough to have seen the last Eagles NFL Championship team play in 1960; three future HOF''ers in Norm VanBrocklin, Chuck Bednarik and Tommy McDonald, who helped hang on the Packers the only Championship Game loss of Vince Lombardi.
The Pats had "nothing in football" from 1960 to 2002.
Eagles' fans don't "hate their team." They're frustrated and very hard, often unfairly so, on their team. Sort of like what you'll see out here when or if the team struggles for a few years or longer after BB and TB leave. (and almost started to see it after the KC loss).

Well, that explains "Since 1974."

Pats better win another one by January '19 or it's hasta la vista baby. :)

When you get a little teary eyed whenever you think about a flag football game on a Hawaiian beach.
...and you decided your favorite CFL team was the Montreal Alouettes... and actually sent Rob Edwards fan-mail at "Run it by Rob"

Allons-y Alouettes!

Who's this "Cincinnati?"

We're on to Buffalo
We're on to Buffalo
We're on to Buffalo

And we need to watch out. Buffalo always plays us tough, and now they're pissed that Detroit carried their coach off on their shoulders.

When you looked forward to playing Indy twice a year...cause one of you ~had~ to win.

When you tell your cat (formerly known as "Little Tiger") before the Bengals at Patriots game he is a Maine Coon Cat - pull for your home team.
