Insufferable Crybabies (Felger/Mazz)

Absolutely agree!! REAL Patriot fans need to read Michael Silver's article and keep in mind that Silver is a Brady guy. Anyone who thinks TB will be here when he's 40 is crazy.
This will not end well and we're seeing the beginning of that process with all these commentaries from Steve Young, Trent Dilfer, Chris Mortenson, etc. Where there is smoke (and lots of it) there is fire....

Remember, Mike Silver is a BRADY guy.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...-tom-brady-jealous-of-peyton-mannings-weapons

An excerpt from the article, quoting Talib:
"But Tom's poised, and he's a professional. He ain't gonna cry about it: 'Oh, I ain't got no weapons, and Peyton's got weapons.' He'll just play. And man, they'll probably win the division and be in the playoffs again."

Then we end with if that doesn't happen Brady is gone next year...

Why you people continue to subject yourself to Borges or Shaugnessey articles or crappy sports talk radio is beyond me.

I guarantee you most of them don't believe or don't really care about 90% of what they say they're just trying to get you wound up and calling their show or reading their stupid articles.

Felger and Mazz have more in common with Vince McMahon than Woodward and Bernstein.

Felger 100% believes in what he spews out of that pie hole. So full of himself. When he says it..i think he definatly means in...he really believes the cap is crap ect.

I only listen on days when Bedard comes in becasue i really like his insight. otherwise my coworkers love them for some reason so it's always on the TV and radio..i have no choice

Entertainment......the callers are even better

The simultaneous presence of Amos Alonzo Stagg, Vince Lombard, George Galas and Paul Brown wouldn't be enough for me to endure the two dopes. Plus, I think Greg Bedard is overrated. Just my take, he's OK but that's all to me.

One thing that gets me about them is they discount the Tim Wright part of the Mankins' trade because "the Bucs were going to cut him anyway". Huh?!? The guy had a historic rookie season for a rookie TE and still learning the position and is on an UDFA contract. Even if Lovie didn't want him, do you really think they would have just cut him? They would have easily gotten some value in a trade. If Lovie just cut Wright, he was a moron.

If the Bucs had cut Wright, he would have been picked up on waivers long before the Pats had a chance at him.

He publicly stated that Wright would not have been cut.

Actually Greg Bedard is excellent. He is one of the very few reporters that actually watch film; the rest of the reporters seem too lazy to do that.

The Mankins trade may turn out very well for the Patriots. Mankins is sort of a broken-down out war horse; he has a lot of wear an tear on that big body

I didn't even think of that, but even so, to think they couldn't have at least gotten a low round pick for him is ridiculous.

1. People don't like certain Boston sports radio hosts.

2. People still listen to certain Boston sports radio hosts.

3. Not only do people listen to radio done by people they vehemently disagree with, but they then turn around and START THREADS ABOUT WHAT THESE HOSTS SAID so that other people that disagree with them can tune in (thus giving them ratings) and then turn around and talk to other people about it.

Again I ask, if you don't like these hosts, then why in God's name do you listen to them and then talk to other people about it? You're like lambs being led to a slaughter and you just eat it up and keep coming back for more. When I lived in South Florida, I never listened to local radio when it came to the Heat during basketball season. Why didn't I do that? Because I didn't like the hosts. I thought they were douchers looking to stir up controversy and I didn't give them the time of day, let alone turn around and direct more peoples' attention to them. What I did instead was listen to music. Much better. But you guys are more than welcome to keep pumping in ratings for people you don't like. Felger and Mazz are laughing all the way to the bank.

The best way to stop the never ending parade of ass clowns is to stop paying any attention to them. No listeners means no advertisers which means no jobs.

My advise is if you have a smart phone or tablet, go to iTunes or Stitcher and search out the various NFL podcasts you can find there. They are almost all far better than any football talk shows you can find on any local radio station and have the added bonus of no commercials or very few commercials. Oh, and you get to learn about what the other teams in the league are doing, instead of the intense focus on every wrinkle of every fourth stringer that the Pats choose to release. If you want that stuff, you can come here! :)

I'm from the Philly area and typically just listen to the local sports radio on my ride home from work, but yesterday after a big win on Sunday I decided to tune my phone into Boston sports for the ride home and what a mistake that was. My ride home was in the 4 o'clock hour and I think it was Felger and Mazz and these guys were absolutely terrible!! I have never listened to radio show hosts spew such garbage before. They were the most negative people, not just radio personalities, but people in general that I had ever heard. It was such a big disappointment for me to tune into Boston sports radio and listen to these jokers talking so negatively about Brady, especially after such a nice and uplifting win!

I actually used to like Felger even though some of the stuff he would say infuriated me (which was his objective to begin with) because I knew it was an on air persona. But I think think they have let success get to them. Since they have been dominating the ratings forever, they seem to up the douciness.

That is driving me to Dale and Holley actually. I am not sticking around all that much for Felger and Mazz anymore. I didn't like Glenn Ordway (for much of same reasons I am souring on Felger and Mazz, success ruined him) or his replacement (I already forgotten his name because he was so bad), but Dale Arnold is at least tolerable. He is mediocre, but in an unoffensive way. Plus other than Perrillo and Bedard, WEEI has the better guests.

So I am not really sticking around to listen to them. I catch them here or there during the week, but other than Tuesdays (Bedard) or Fridays (Perrillo) I don't consider them must listen. Too bad because I still think Felger before he turned up the douchiness was one of the more knowledgeable talk show hosts when it comes to football, but that show is starting to fall into the same trappings that killed WEEI when they finally got serious competition.

If you want a breath of fresh air, take Bill Lee's advice and find some knowledgable podcasts...

Some of them are just fanboys with very limited football knowledge, other's are excellent are breaking down the X's and O's of the game. Either way, it's much more enjoyable than listening to local radio.

I do listen to PFW in Progress, but they can be just as bad as Felger and Mazz. Andy Hart is as big of a douche as them. I guess I gotta find others. I do listen to SiriusXM NFL radio, but they are obviously NFL in general focused.

Welcome to our world.

Mazz is definitely the worse one. On rare times Felger is tolerable but, for the most part he's just a douchebag (especially about basketball). I remember the Red Sox lost their season opener in 2012 like 2-1 to the White Sox and Mazz said it was a contastrophy and it was unacceptable. I bet he complained it took the Red Sox six games to win the world series.
