They doubted him. They circled over Arrowhead like the vultures that they are. They took to the press conferences, pen and paper in hand, and blatantly insulted him, asked him if he was over the hill, past his prime, and in decline. It came from every direction, every network, and every fan base, and it came all week long.

Hey, Tom:
Thanks for another unforgettable win and thanks for over 50,000 yards.

he's an all time great QB

and when you combine that with the GOAT coach, it makes for a great dynasty of sustained excellence

His getting fired up after that run and gettin in their faces...awesome.

Didn't you mean to say that Brady is the GOAT QB?

And when you combine that with a good coach like BB it makes for a great dynasty of sustained excellence and Brady can bail out BB when he slips and make BB look good?

The 2000's were a really, really rough decade for me, personally. 2 failed marriages, job loss due to one giant corporate entity buying another, lost $100k in value on my house and struggled greatly with a lot of personal relationships that fell apart, including family.

It may sound pathetic, but the Patriots were really important to me and were, sometimes, the highlight of my year. I started watching this team in 1985 when I was *cough cough* years old. I watched the Bears humiliate us. Then I endured the embarrassing loss to Denver the next season (it still stings that we never once beat Elway, goddamnit Hugh Millen). Then there were the well-documented embarrassments off the field to go with terrible records on the field. I nearly quit being a fan after Raymond Berry's handling of Doug Flutie when Flutie went north to play in the CFL.

2001 was a magical season. It was unexpected. Tom Brady came in ...blah blah we all know the story. The moment Vinatieri kicked the ball through the uprights it was unbelievable. A moment that I never thought I'd get to experience. Then two more times in 2003 and 2004. We've been the class of the NFL for longer than any fan deserves.

Through it all has been one player - Tom Brady. The 6th round draft pick nobody wanted who now has people rooting against him and for Peyton like their draft positions and pedigrees were swapped. The guy who personifies willpower in a way nobody since Michael Jordan has.

I know it's just a game, I know I'm talking about millionaires playing a game for billionaires, but Tom Brady has always meant a lot to me. The talk about decline and trading him has infuriated me in a way that I promised myself for years I wouldn't let happen over something so meaningless as internet posters and media idiots. To turn on a guy who has given us so much to celebrate so quickly shows a lack of character and priorities that are so foreign to me that I found disgusting.

Until he decides to hang them up I'd rather watch this team lose with Brady under center than win with anyone else.

no.....i accurately stated my point of view.....and even did it without being trollish or snarky

how immature and catty.....i was being sincere......oh well

i have never lost faith in Tom...and i was so excited (many many miles away from Foxboro and here in the real night) when the crowd chant BRADY BRADY BRADY this night

Tom simply the # 1 Patriot playier in our franchise history...

Tom Brady has been my all time favorite athlete since the exact moment that he spiked the ball so hard he fell down. I shouldn't have to tell you what game. It's the 14th year of absolutely adoring everything he brings to a football team, my favorite football team.

I hope the cowards stay away for a while and let the growns handle the adult discussion around here for a bit. Oh, and go Tom F. Brady, if you aren't fully on board with 12 i don't care what you have to say about the NEP....go Pats.

I'm happy you aren't ducking the board and mean you no ill will. But when you go full Chicken Little expect a little blowback when it proves the sky still stands.

At any rate i don't doubt your love for NEP and say whole heartedly go Pats!

Legendary

**** all those doubters never question the man's will to win it's the greatest I've ever seen in a player

I am a Chinese. I was an exchange student at a NH public high school in 2005 when I was 16. I got into the game during 2007 season and have been following the Pats since then.

I spent eight yrs in the States, two of them in NYC. Watching the pats losing the SB in NYC in 2011 season was tough. It was tough to watch them losing any game cuz..

I do take personal insipriation from the 199 and the Pats. The game was a break from my personal struggles(relationship, family, work). Even though there is 12 hrs difference between china and the u.s and the game streams are hard to find, I never miss a game. The Pats are my hope and strength.

That is that. I know a lot of you can relate to that.

i have been very honest about being a BB guy

i like brady just fine......but obviously not as much as many people here

Absolutely not man post away! I personally like what you bring. Go Pats!!!

On my phone so multi quote isn't working, but fnord and edkk323 i just want to say thank you for your honesty and I'm proud to count you among our brethren. Pats fans extend to China and i think that's awesome...Patriots can help a good person going through tough times.

GO PATS!!! from here to China and back! And right back in to fnord's backyard.

edkk323, you wanna be a lifetime friend of ol' Unca Joe Kerr?

go down to the market with your buddies and round up a 100 chickens...I'll send you the cash if you need it...then, cut every frigging bawkin' scared shytless feathered capon's neck and bleed them out in the street so their chickengutz blood flows in the SEWER where it belongs. Send me the pictures so I can make Christmas cards for all the nervous Normans that have been infesting this board the past six months.

Fixed it for you. Brady created BB , not the other way.
