The pats haven't won a superbowl in 10 year.. Maybe they should try and more simple system.. Worked for 10 other teams

Do those other teams have as many wins as we do in the reg season and playoffs over the last 14 years?

Brandon LaFell seemed to be picking up the offense last week, and he's a mediocrity. So, week 4 of season one. How is that a problem?

Talent is the issue.

Apparently Bob Kraft needs to pave a new hall for those regular season and playoff runner-up trophies.

I am as frustrated as anyone we dont have 14 Lombardis but it is difficult to win the superbowl. That "system" has served them well obviously. They are 3 catches away from having 3 more championships. They did not lose those games because of the system.

"who needs end zone seats?... *hic*...*sneeze*...hey barkeep, give ol' uncle Bob a double champagne cokktail, wouldja...."

"The system" = Tom Brady
Yes, pretty much and they have played into his talents.

If we want to discuss that the system needs to be tweaked because Brady is no longer able to run it like he used to, that could be a different discussion. I just dont think we have any proof that he is declined - at least from last year.

Playing well? No. Declined, not sure.

What I don't get is KT had 30+ catches last year. Instead of improving, he has regressed? Same is true with AD - he had 30+ catches in 2013 but instead of improving in 2014, he has regressed. And the same thing can be said of Amendola. Over 50 catches last year but on track for whopping 12 catches for the 2014 year. Something is very wrong with the receiver in NE.

That's cool. We've only had the undisputed GOAT all this time. I understand rebuilding, but the misses on the defensive side of the ball through the draft are just as responsible for the lack of another (and I'm just looking for one) trophy in almost 10 years. Please alert me when that much anticipated AFC runner up trophy is forged. I'm sure Jets fans will **** themselves with delight.

That one's beneath you, K...
No it's not. I'm happy about the regular season and playoff accolades. It's when people use them as a fall back that irritates me.

He was actually thrown to last week. I am not sure if that means anything.

Absolutely, they burned though corner backs like I have never seen. Last year I thought the D was fine until the IR bug struck. This year the D seems to be decent and the O falls apart.

Well at least the smell will still be the same in New Jersey when that trophy is forged.

In total, patriot receivers are on track for 2 receptions a game fewer than in 2013. The WR's are on a track for 2.75 catches a game fewer than in 2013.

LaFell has been added and is our #2 WR in receptions, having as many catches as DA/KT and Dobson combined.

Yes, something is wrong. It isn't complicated. We need more production from DA and Dobson, and perhaps from our #5 WR (although we usually get almost no catches from the #5 WR position (10 all last year from Boyce and Collie).

I was a fan of KT but other then his Saints game winning catch what els has he done. He always looked good in the preseason but never played the same in the regular season. I think with the right coach he can be very good.

Well, I guess I could take down my signature. Surprised by this. True, he hasn't done much but as a young receiver with upside, I don't see why you risk losing him. How quickly that clutch catch against the saints is forgotten

I'm a fan of Kenbrell's story and like him, but he is not a young receiver. He is the same age as Antonio Brown and older than Gronk and Dez Bryant. 26 year old receivers are not going to last on upside, they last on production or they are subject to getting cut. I'd argue he has the lowest upside of any young receiver they have, but then I'd argue that he isn't even a young receiver because he's closer in age to Edelman and LaFell than Dobson.

We haven't seen really AD in 2014..we don't know that yet

Wow..what a shocker, especially with Kenbrell Thompkins being on the "Jerry Rice" training program all summer long and ready to be a top 10 NFL wide receiver ;)

Yeah looks like gym rat struck out on this one.
