Yeah, but I don't know how they can say they're being disrespected after what they've displayed these 4 weeks compared to the Bengals hopefully we walk out with a W

Becasue they know they can do better. They have the talent outside of WR and OL. D has all the talent in the world. Breat TE and QB with solid RBs. They can play much better if coaching improves

You can 'love it' all you want

I would rather 'love' the team to be smoking hot and on a roll and expected to win...maybe its just me but I'd rather be in that situation right now.

To be an underdog at Gillette is downright almost unthinkable after all these years

Does not surprise me. Bengals have looked very good through the first three games while the Patriots have had their ups and downs.

I don't see what's wrong with their picks. Going strictly off of the first four games of the season, anyone who expects the Patriots to win or picks the Patriots isn't using their head. There is nothing logical that can be presented based off the first four weeks of the season that says the Patriots will win.

Thankfully though, games aren't played on paper and the teams that took the fields last week, or in week two don't take the field in week five.

This team doesn't have the talent, physical toughness, or fortitude (or even coaching ability anymore to be quite honest) to be one of those underdogs that overcomes the odds.

I hope the fans can get behind this team Sunday night, they need it more than ever after the criticism they've taken this past week.

Nope. Pats come out on the first series an go 3 and out on offense the boos will be noticeable

Ever notice that the Boos in the so called 'poor crowd noise' Gillette stadium are always heard loudly by even those watching at home but the cheering is of far lower decibel levels? - something isnt right there.

I agree I love being the underdog. It's just the feeling you get knowing that everyone is against you but your fans it fuels me I hope it gets the team going to. I can't wait for Sunday night.

I agree..this week i like the under dog....lets beat that crap coach in lewis!

Pats usually play down to competition (Oakland) but usually play UP to better teams....

I expect a good game with TO's or a FG being the difference between winning and losing.....

If they throw up another stinkeroo, there will be a lot more people questioning WTF is going on.....including me :)

same thing happened last year atlanta/home to the saints.
everyone picked against us and we won.

i don't any confidence tomorrow. the team is weak at both lines of scrimmage. the bengals will punish us. hope to god that i am wrong. find it hard to believe that tom will have 5 straight poor efforts...

the pats play much better at home I see them gong like 7-1 at home this year but only 3-5 on the road

Hope I'm wrong. But I can't imagine anything short of a miracle happening that would result in a Pats win.

We just aren't a good team right now.

We've always done better as the underdog

We've always done better as the underdog

We've also always had better teams.

I don't want to jump the gun and say this years team sucks, but I'm getting damn close. And that really, really sucks.

Maybe it's by design (BB forcing Brady out) the conspiracy theorist in me.

But whatever the case, maybe a wake up call is what the organization needs to get things back on track.

I do not love it that by any rational analysis, the Bengals are a much better team than we are, and the pride of a weaker team might cause a major upset.

I would much rather be favored by 2 touchdowns. That would mean that we had a better team.

Of course, the better team doesn't always win.
