Anyone catch that this morning? He sounded irritated and generally pissed off. Thought guys quit and seemed more irritated with the players than the coaching.Thats the attitdue we miss on the defense though. Its like hes ready to run through a wall and chew nails at any minute.i miss that guy.

Hopefully Browner brings that sort of intensity Sunday night.

I'm trying to remember the last time we've pulled off one of those big comebacks on the road. Drawing a blank, can anyone help me out?

I'm sure he wasn't too happy seeing our o-line's pathetic attempt at recovering that fumble

Look at Edelman dive in there with 5 KC guys swarming him, as Solder and Vollmer just stand up and watch

Yeah, this team is struggling for it's identity. They overachieved with a Cool Hand Luke hand last year and seemed a bit complacent with their loaded lineup despite a couple weak spots. Every team in the salary cap era has weak spots and has to overcome the Terry Glenn's Milloy's or Mankins if you want to play for the Pats.

Bottom line is, you have to fight with the players you have every game, or you're going to get beat. I don't see that fight, I see excuses.

There simply isn't that guy who won't back down on a team anymore. Mankins was that guy and the o-line seems completely lost. They have leaders on the team, sure. Just not the kind of vocal and mentally tough leader who won't quit. This team reminds me of the Pats team who went to NO and got humiliated. BB was miked up and said something to Tom on the sideline like, I just can't get them... I can't remember it. He was talking about their mental toughness. Tom said the same in a presser that year. Hopefully Browner can provide that for the D but who's gonna do it on the O?

Yeah. Was it 2002 when they had a fumble and players stood there and looked at it? Included Faulk and probably some other quality guys, but there was just a dead spirit down the stretch. (Please correct me if I'm wrong).

We have a few all pro vets and a lot of young players. Solder definitely isn't the fiery type, but it takes all kinds. They might miss Uncle dante, but they need to quit being butthurt and play with fire. It's not an all star unit, but I think they should be able to find a lineup, or pick someone up. Hopefully, stork has a bit more fire. Some catalysts need to emerge.

It was the Adalius Thomas last year and I'm not sure it was N.O. That's what we're fighting and some is going to have to come from the young guys I think.

Oh god yeah, this made me sick!

Solder man, I really hope Bill dressed him down for that one. It's a three score game at that point with plenty of time left. THIS is where not having Mankins is hurting them. He would have destroyed Solder for that in the huddle. Vollmer at least shows semi interest after he fell down.

Please football gods, deliver us from evil!

I agree, actually from watching the last game again Stork definitely has some fire, running over to backs and picking them up after a play and such. They only problem I see with him is he doesn't seem very strong, kind of getting pushed around at times. But I like him, want to see him remain at center.

That gif is Charmin soft

Harrison's greatest moment as a Patriot actually came in the preseason. The Patriots were playing some shlock team that put a nasty late hit on Brady. The next series Harrison blitzed twice and annihilated their QB twice. Just laid him out.

After that there was no more chick-bleep hits on Brady. The team misses that.

That guy on defense is in Buffalo.
That guy on offense is in Tampa.

It's tough to have that kind of leadership on offense except from the OL. The skill position players are too vulnerable to cheap shots, so they have to show some kind of restraint if they want to survive the season.

But on the OL, the only guys with the seniority to do it are Solder, Vollmer and Connolly. Solder doesn't seem to be wired that way. Connolly is insecure in his job. Vollmer has a disadvantage in that he's German, and friendly enthusiasm isn't easy for a German to show. But maybe he has to figure out how anyway.

I never expected this on a Pats team. A few players trying their best surrounded by players that don't care.

Edelman was getting manhandled and the oline just walking away not caring. I feel so bad for Edelman and some other players. It seems there is very little heart and leadership on this team. Despite Mankins not being a great pass blocker and maybe not what he used to be, he would have NEVER allowed this manhandling of Edelman to go on without helping.

I really hope Belichick is shoving this ****ing video in the faces of the offensive line and the rest of the players and yelling at them.

Strength is supposed to be his strong point. When you aren't confident due to lack of experience, you'll look tentative, which looks the same. I don't imagine it's a pleasant atmosphere this week, so we'll see.

Just because the Pats have been so consistent doesn't mean they're immune to a flat, complacent start. We forget they've had these spells before and pulled out, sure as they've taken off like a rocket, then flopped (not often)
