He would have saved a lot of time and effort if he had just replaced the article with five letters: "IBBIT".

Sounds like he's writing what sounds good. Yeah, Belichick likes us to get destroyed so we will win 12 in a row. It's just entertainment. what outrageous theory will get clicks.

Skip Bayless is a massive douche bag and a masterful troll. This article is basically click bait.

Nice words, but if it were anyone other than Skip-to-My Lou, I'd be encouraged. Skippy makes me discouraged. Sorry, Senor.

What a great article! Just what I needed after a very depressing week.

Mock all you want, Skip is more right more often about football, especially with long term predictions, than anyone else really at ESPN. I know that doesn't say much, because ESPN is a troll network, but it's still true.

I DVR First Take and skip all the stuff I don't like, and have for awhile. In it's defense, it's matured a lot since the Rob Parker days, and even before that, Skip had a good track record with the Patriots. In fact, that's really my main defense of him. I just don't see him "wrong" very often, but his track record with the Patriots stands by itself for national media talking heads. While everyone else is routinely announcing our demise, Skip is telling them they're wrong for all the reasons always brought up on this board.

He's firmly in the Patriot camp. I don't understand the hate he gets here.

He's Brady and Belichick's firmest ally over there

I think this video says that Richard Sherman is the massive douche.
Skip was also right here. He said in 2011 that Revis was a better shut down corner than Sherman. That's why Sherman is going mental here

Statements like "Belichick will soon be proved right about trading offensive guard and leader Logan Mankins" and "The offensive line won't keep offending fans" are not reasons but his predictions. I would like to know the rationale between those predictions so that I may learn more about football.

Off topic, but I'm listening to this week's version of the Patriots Beat podcast while I'm doing homework, and I just heard them mention your name and website. Not sure if you're aware--just thought I'd pass it on :)

I think Skip is awesome, but I have no idea whether or not Skip's current prediction will come true or not. However, I can appreciate his optimism.

Apparently, Skip isn't the only one who's optimistic, as Chris Price just stated that he believes that the Pats have skill position players that are as good, or better than most AFC teams (said he won't go into the NFC due to the talent level, which is much higher).

Well said Skip ,,,another reason why i am confident we beat the Bengals this Sunday ,,firstly Pats at home and more importantly we hardly ever lose 2 games on the trot. A little adjustment on the O Line and better Coaching and we will be just fine. Lets Go Pats.

Apparently, the Patriots are 39-1 in their past 40 when rushing for 100 or more yards.

They are also unbeaten in the past 2.5 years when attempting 30 or more carries in a game.

These 2 stats courtesy of the Pats Beat Podcast from Snowdon and Kane (I believe those are their names--I wasn't previously familiar).

We've got to both establish and stop the run this week to win this game.

Wow. That's crazy.

They need to fax this information to Josh immediately.

I would really like to see those stats with the rest of the team in the NFL for comparison. That's got to lead the league and I wonder by how much.

Thanks for the heads up.

Skip was also right here. He said in 2011 that Revis was a better shut down corner than Sherman. That's why Sherman is going mental here

2011 was Sherman's rookie year. I would hope that Revis was the better shut down corner than Sherman then. Since then, Sherman has been the better corner of the two. Now, how much of that has to do with the way Revis has been used in Tampa and, to date, New England, is up for debate. Further, Skip seems to be going after the way Sherman talks a lot here and gets owned.

Ultimately, what soured Skip on me was the way he dug his heels in about LeBron James after it became obvious that he was the best basketball player in the world today. He's a troll. He makes a living off of being a troll. And this article is next to useless. As I said before, he might as well have just typed "In Bill We Trust".
