That depends what you mean by "completely false"...
Belichick doesn't usually shoot down a report directly so it may be that SMY's original tweet is ridiculous. Nevertheless, Dobson should be active Sunday night. As I keep saying, he has a skill set that none of the other receivers on the roster have. At least try to develop him.
It all depends on what your definition of "completely false" is

What is SMY's response to this ? She 'stands by' her report ?

I spoke to Aaron Dobson...he told me he didn't have an incident with McDaniels. we shook hands. sources can be wrong sometimes.
Perhaps I'm reading the chronology of her tweets incorrectly, but it appears to me that the "standing by her report" tweet came prior to the shaking hands/ sources wrong" tweet. And she stands by her report, still:
How do you stand by something that is completely false?
Yes, but she ought to be accountable for running with a false lead.Perhaps I'm reading the chronology of her tweets incorrectly, but it appears to me that the "standing by her report" tweet came prior to the shaking hands/ sources wrong" tweet.

when I asked why he isn't playing, Aaron said to ask the coaching staff.
I agree with you, and I think it comes down to all the pressure and hits he has taken last season and now this season. The only thing that rattles Brady and throws him off his game is when he is hit often. That has been the case since he returned from in 2009 from the knee injury, especially when pressured up the middle. That is why Garopollo looks so good to everyone; he is young and dumb, and completely unrattled by pressure, he is what Brady was 2001-2007. Unfortunately you do not suffer the type of injury Brady suffered and not have a dose of mortality injected into you. At 37 years old we need to prioritize his protection, if that means we move to 6-7 man protection so be it.Regardless, Brady is not playing well.
Belichick spins things all the time. It comes with the job.BB made a statement about it completely denying what she reported. How often has he ever made a statement on media reports? If it was true, do you think BB would have done that? She was wrong and doesn't really care.
Where there is smoke there is usually fire. I am not sure what football related thing could keep Dobson off the active roster considering how poorly any WR not named Edelman has been playing.Belichick doesn't usually shoot down a report directly so it may be that SMY's original tweet is ridiculous. Nevertheless, Dobson should be active Sunday night. As I keep saying, he has a skill set that none of the other receivers on the roster have. At least try to develop him.
"Source can be wrong sometimes." Ridiculous. She lost a lot of credibility on this one.
that was my point.BB made a statement about it completely denying what she reported. How often has he ever made a statement on media reports? If it was true, do you think BB would have done that? She was wrong and doesn't really care.
Sorry, but making that statement isn't spin for the following reason: if it were ever proven that it occurred, his credibility would be shot completely. Spin would be much more vague than what he stated.Belichick spins things all the time. It comes with the job.
Its hard to believe anything a Boston Globe patriots writer says these days. Volin legit has zero clue what he's talking about and makes stuff up (still waiting on Volmer to play guard) and now SMY is backpedaling faster than Ty Law in his prime.
Oh, what I would do to have Bedard back.....
