+1 I think. No surprise.

I believe its the first time the Pats are the underdog in Gillette Stadium since the Colts game in 2005...

Offense will struggle against Bengal defense, but ... that doesn't mean we can't score 20 points.

It is on the defense to stop the run and force Andy Dalton to beat them. Hold them to less than 17 points and commit to the running game on offense and we stand a good chance to get the season back on track.

They deserve to be. Right now the Bengals are the best team in the AFC and one of the two three best teams in the NFL.

Which will be great for the Bengals fans until they are one and done in the playoffs.

I do a lot of bets in NFL, but I don't bet in Patriots games. This last monday though, coming after a rough sunday with 3 losses I felt tempted to put some money on the Chiefs paying 2.4 for the victory, but I didn't, even though I had a strong feeling that would be an embarrassment, Vegas set the odds wrong for this game, the Patriots were already the underdogs and any experienced guy who bets on NFL knew that, Vegas set that line to fool the newbies and guys who do not study the game and go with stats and names.

Obviously the Bengals are a better team than the Chiefs but I feel that we have a better chance in this game, not only for home factor but because I think we hit the rock bottom so things has to go in the up direction, but the fact is that the Patriots got exposed in national television. This odd should be +3 for the Patriots, until Sunday it will change.

I had the chiefs to cover on Monday. Pats a home dog coming off a loss? Give me the Pats. Bengals are unbeatable at home, but average on the road.

I couldn't disagree more. The Bengals and Pats aren't evenly matched teams right now (factoring in the 3 point home advantage). The Pats could certainly win but any team could win.

In my heart I want them to win but I wouldn't bet on the Patriots against such a strong Defensive Team our Third Down Offense is just too pathetic. You can see the look in their eyes this Offense just seems defeated...never thought I would see the day when a Tom Brady lead Offense would struggle to convert a 3rd and Two.

I agree, people are taking us for granted.

I agree. I think the line should be around Pats +6.5/+7. Bengals are a much better team coming off a bye.

Good. Maybe that will light a fire under them.

If they play the same way they did Monday night, it's not going to matter if they have a nuke go off under them, they'll get pummeled.

Man what a win this Sunday night would do for the teams moral and confidence. A win this week I think would have a great overall effect for the rest of the season. Come on Patriots please show heart and fight and whoop their asses.

24-13 Bengals. I struggle to see how the Patriots score points in this game. They've struggled to do absolutely anything in three of their four games, and this is the best defense they've faced. I think the reality is the Patriots are what they are.

Honest question: I am not calling for BB's job, just asking a real question. If the Patriots are truly as bad as they've looked, they need to be rebuilt. Does BB stick around for the "rebuild" at this point in his career. Would he even want to?

Meh...any team can rally for a win from week to week. It would sure be better than a loss but it won't solve the big picture issues.

On 2014 form, you couldn't pick the Patriots to win. Between now and Sunday, something significant is going to need to happen for the Patriots to upset a very good Bengals team.

Everytime people doubt the Pats they explode. Remember 06 vs the Bengals? 2011 vs the Jets in primetime? Everyone will hop back on the bandwagon late Sunday night. I dont know how it gets done but the Bengals run for an unbeaten season comes to an end in Foxborough.

I think that is being nice saying they are only going to be a +1. Pats are coming off a short week and had one of the most lopsided losses in the BB and Brady era during the regular season. Bengals are a solid team and are coming off a bye week. I don’t think this is going to be pretty for the pats. I can easily see another route.
