Brady needs to continue to give this guy the damn ball!!
Out of all the receivers, last night, besides Gronk, he actually showed effort.

I wish he had shown how to sharpen his route on the opening drive when Brady threw to the sticks,
but LaFell rounded-off his pattern and the 3rd-down pass fell short.

Amendola should be the player getting set as healthy scratch. Dobson and thompkins should be on the field every open opportunity.

Not quite ready to praise Lafell after one game. But he's already done more for thus than Amendola. That's for damn sure.

I don't get it. Is Dobson still not 100%. There is no other reason why he should not be on the field. And if he has been a legitimately healthy scratch then the coaches have been effing moronic.

I had a dream last night that they used LaFell next week as move TE and in the backfield and he killed the Bengals and put up 150 total yards from scrimmage and a TD rushing and receiving.

Then I woke up this morning and remembered the team sucks, and already has a move TE that they don't use. :(

Last 4 games

15 rec
282 Yards
18.8 YPC
3 TD

3 big catches today

3rd and 9- 17 yard catch next play Brady with the deep ball to Tyms
3rd and 12- TD
56 yard TD to drive the last nail in the coffin.

I've never seen LaFell as fast as I have in the past 3 games. I like him in college and with the Panthers, but he looks like he has another gear in his last 3 games. He's been a YAC machine, and you don't generally do that without elite speed.

He's been showing elite playing speed recently.

We've heard a lot of whining about how Denver spent money and got deep threat Sanders and we got the cheap but worthless "Lafail":

Guess who is who?

i just put my waiver claim in for him cuz cruz tore his knee tonight

LaFell's a Wr3/WR4
Sanders is a different style of WR3/WR4

Sanders had, without question, been well ahead of LaFell on overall play, entering today.

Not to mention he had an 18 yard gain wiped out by offsetting penalties. When Hughes jumped offside and then Cannon got called for holding him.

Assuming your "with" was meant to be "without", I'm not sure I agree, because of how smurfy slot guys can be strong at YAC.

Yeah, meant to say without.

And yeah, shifty guys certainly can do it, but LaFell looks like he has legitimate breakaway speed after the catch.

LaFell is quicker than I thought he was.. his size and blocking ability are huge assets.

To have three receivers with 90+ yards yesterday is a very nice achievement..

For my eyes Sanders is pretty much replacing Welker in Denver. Moving the chains. Time comes goal line situations Peyton only looking to both the Thomas boys, cuz we know he's not handing it off to the RB.

We don't need that type of player here. We have Edelman and Amendola for that. It would have been a waste of money paying 3 guys the same money, virtually playing the same position.

Lafell was getting crapped on here the first 4 weeks by negative nancys that seem to want to ***** about everything when our offense was still trying to find the right grouping at OL. He's a good receiver, that seems to be on the same page as Brady....

Sanders is gonna stack up the yards, while Lafell racks up the TD's. For that reason, I'll take Lafell> Sanders.

sanders will be way more consistent then Lafell and end the year with way more yards because sanders has now taken over Wes Welker spot as the #2 WR as for Lafell him and Brian Tyms are the guys that will run the post routs to open it up for the guys that are consistent Gronk and Edelman,

over all I think both teams got the guy that fits there offense. sanders never would have had the yards he has now with the pats and Lafell never would have got used right with Denver they both signed the right guy

Loser lafell hahaha. Where is the gym rat now?

For all the challenges early, certain players are producing more than most expected : Chung, Wendell, LaFell... LaFell has clearly distanced himself from the other WRs to be (for now) number two after JE.

Large, good blocker, getting yards in last few weeks. Very good addition.

hes impressed me last couple of weeks, rarely do wide outs start slow here and then get it together but LaFell has turned it around. Nice to have a big wide out who can get us some yac.
