I still consider myself a n00b.

I'm NOT attempting to troll, although the topic matter is pretty flammable.

If I did not know better, I'd think Peyton Manning was a Johnny Manziel-type of jerk that denied the Pats 1-2 SBs....THAT I could understand.

But Brady is 10-4 against Peyton regular season and 2-2 in the playoffs (see http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2014/01/14/peyton-manning-vs-tom-brady-by-the-numbers/ ) I have not bothered to list Brady vs Peyton's record in the playoffs as it's so obvious who's ahead.

Peyton won't be in the list of most hated jocks...even in his own family, Eli for sure and even Archie is more hateable. Peyton is closer to Jeter than A-Rod on likeability (Sorry I used Yankees for comparison.)

Need to remind those about to flame look at the title of this thread: Peyton is runner up to Brady for this era and it's not the 1st time I've said that. Over a career Brady handles clutch situations better.

I can think of adversaries far more hateable than Peyton. Why?

I root against him usually (rival teams of course), but I have a ton of respect and admiration for what he does.

I don't see why any one would hate him personally.

Patriot fans don't like Peyton Manning because he's the Manchurian Quarterback.
