Will Tyms see the field?

Wonder if he sees the field if Dobson and KT are out again this week. Also someone has to go..well 2 for him and Browner coming back

Its worth a shot to put him out there. Why not? Need some new blood out there

He wasn't ahead of these guys when his suspension started, so I don't see any reason that he would be now after missing a month of meetings and practice.

He may not even be on the team.

Two spots would need to open up. I didn't see any major injuries last night so don't think anyone is going to IR. So people have to be released. For Browner to come one the squad, it could be Butler, Wilson, Chung (doubtful now), Harmon.

At WR, what do they do? Edelman isn't going anywhere. Based on his playing time Amendola won't either and same for LaFell. So it's either Dobson or Thompkins. Maybe Dobson goes to IR because of his foot (unlikely). Is NE going to give up on one of those two and give the unknown Tyms a shot? I don't think so at this point.

I think he will see the field and he'll do well

What exactly does Amendola bring to this team? He has 3 catches for 16 yards this season WITH Dobson/Thompkins inactive on a weekly basis.

"Based on his playing time" - He is playing this much because there are no other active WR's.

Not much. I don't make the decisions. I'm guessing what will happen and that is Tyms doesn't get on the 53-man roster.

I just don't get people's obsession with this guy? Why because he had some catches going up against JAGS and guys out of the NFL now?

Everyone is on the same plain right now, no one should be disregarded as this team is not good enough to "cast off" any and all players

Why are you so against seeing him get a try? What did he do that was so awful in preseason? He doesn't control who he plays against, he went in when his number was called and he had success. I wouldn't mind seeing Amendola sit 1-2 weeks to see if Tyms can play at this level or not.

In Tyms case that is incorrect. He's a JAG that made some catches against other JAGS in preseason. If Dobson and Thompkins can't get on the field there is no way in hell Tyms should see the field. Those two guys proved they got it last year. Tyms has proved nothing other than he can make some catches in meaningless games against guys that are at best backups

Because Dobson and Thompkins can't even get on the field because of McDaniels and Belichick's terrible game plans why the hell should Tyms? Those guys proved they got the offense.

How is he going to get on the roster? Someone has to go for that to happen.

You're just assuming it's game plans, no one really knows why Dobson and Thompkins are inactive on a weekly basis.

What is the difference between Amendola and Tyms at this point? It literally doesn't matter which one of them are on this roster.

I would let one of the end of the roster guys go and try to get him out there because to date this year he has been the only WR who has offered anything downfield and they desperately need to open things up and ned a deep threat to do it. i wish Dobson has been out there to do so already but that is not the case, and if they aren't going to use Amendola then deactivate him and play the others.

Thompkins and Dobson don't play ST's, that's why they are not active.

So you think NE is going to release Amendola for Tyms? Or is that just what you want to do? I don't know if the Pats get a roster exemption for Browner and Tyms but maybe they will for a week or two so they can practice and see what NE has in them.

No. It's clearly game plan based. It's the only reason why you wouldn't have 2 6-foot WR who have proven they get the offense and instead have ST-only player Don Jones and 4 RB active.

Yep you right switch Tyms out for Amendola you will get the same production. NOTHING

DA needs to go. We all know that. I want to see Tyms get a chance with the starting unit...not back ups. Dobson is turning into a dud
