The Tom Brady Era Is Ending

If you asked me 3 weeks ago, I thought Brady was safe thru the end of his contract.

Brady has sucked so far this year; even things like the 3rd and 3 where he stepped up in the pocket to avoid pressure, and then instead of running for the first, he threw it to no one. Brady since his injury has refused to run even when there's a safe slide after the 1st down.

And Garoppolo showed poise last night that he could possibly be the real deal. I don't think he's going to be replacing Brady this year, but next offseason could become interesting If Garoppolo keeps improving and Brady has a mediocre season

This season absolutely not, but i think during the off season there will be a battle for the starting job, as you said.

Just so I have this straight?

Just a season ago there were some that thought Brady was MVP worthy late in the season because he had done so much with so little....and single handily won games for the Pats.

Four games into the following season Brady is playing with the same supporting cast at the skill position and a much worst offensive line, and some of you want a rookie Division 2 QB playing instead of Brady because he looked good at the end of a blowout lose.

You've got to be kidding me.

Thread of the year...wooooo!!!!!11

The Pats Nation felt the same thing i felt when Garoppolo drove down the field like it was nothing. I just wanted a discussion on it. Again, it was a big deal to me.

Don't let the humor fool you.
This member of Pats Nation was thinking, "Oh, if only we always played against a prevent defense like this, then our O-linemen might not be so easily beaten."

I'm not writing him off, but his 'excuse' was much more obvious last season. He had to build chemistry with everyone besides Edelman (while Gronk was out).

Now, he's had a full season and offseason with the likes of Amendola, Dobson, and Thompkins. not only that, Gronk is at least on the field. It's not that far fetched to expect better results than the beginning of last year (and instead, we have far worse).

Well....I knew you were going to come around....like a moth to a light.....offering nothing to a thread with nothing

That's a great description as to your appearances here, when the patriots lose or something ****ty happens to them you inevitably pop up right after it. When things are going well however you are nowhere to be found.

Jeezus.......STFU already and go find something besides your own self inflicted misery

You could definitely feel it, especially when Garoppolo came in and looked so good, per usual.

and that smile, oh that beautiful smile.

There's a decent crop of young Victoria Secret super models if Grop is interested.

Once again, projection. The only time you say anything is when you have something negative to say, so please just shut your piehole and go back to JI where you belong.

I think we can all agree that while Brady is not DONE its obvious his best days have passed

Brady can't be considered his normal Elite QB Status he's had for a decade but as his career winds down its as a game manager who must rely more on those around him... at this point those guys including the prized offseason defender Revis have done little to help things at the 1/4 mark

You need to try harder.....or try something new.....your gig doesn't work

But feel free to keep at it

Executing what has most recently worked is a start

How can you make that determination with this line?

Only last season he was routinely pulling miracle 4th Quarter wins out of his behind and now he's all washed up? Give him a solid line and real weapons, if he's still playing like crap I'll agree with you.

I will say this - dating and marrying gisele has softened brady up. He doesn't look like the tough and fearless QB he usd to be, even from a mental standpoint.

She broke him. Now he's just a toilet scrubber.
