This is ridiculous. Since 2002 we have had at least 10 wins and the past 4 seasons our win totals are 14, 13, 12, 12.

Yes, this was an awful beatdown, but i am reading about how BB stinks, TB is overrated, etc...Season is over (despite being 2-2 in a bad division).

Lets take a step back and see the positives and where we can improve.

Coaching - For those saying that the game has passed BB are just plain stupid just look at our record since 2001. Last year we were 3-3 after 6 weeks. The one thing about the Patriots are that we are a better team in December than September.

Defense - They have been inconsistent. The run defense has not been good and the secondary was brutal last night. Jones has been a bright light through 4 games. We get Browner back and i assume we will play more man and put some exotic blitz packages. I love Revis and Browner's tackling skills so hopefully we will be better than last night (we have to be betteR)

Special teams - Slater is having another all-pro season. This has been a positive so far

Offense - Yes, we all agree that they have not been good (to put it mildly), but we have a HOF QB and TE. Gronk hasn't looked the same, but it doesn't seem like he has been utilized downfield much. Edelman has been great, Lafell showed some progress, maybe Tyms takes advantage of his opportunity. What has struck me is the mediocare run game and awful O-Line. We clearly can't run a screen anymore and need to throw downfield. We need to evolve, BB will need to guide McD now.

You must have missed the first 3 games of the season.

While you can always look at positives, people have a right to complain, especially after last night. The team was unprepared and outcoached. Slater did look real good, though! Surprised they didn't put him in for a go route.

I don't have a problem with complaining after a loss like this. As one of the more positive people on this board, I have done quite a bit of it in the last 12 hours.

What is annoying is the ridiculous amount of overreaction and stupidity on this board.

Is anyone else getting tired of people pointing to our regular season success since 2006, as if we are suppose to just be grateful we made it to the playoffs despite being embarrassed each and every year as we are eliminated from them? As if it's wrong to be disappointed by anything other than a SB?

I am certainly appreciative of all the successes this team has accomplished in the recent past...I just wish they would give Brady a little help...

If you want optimism go read Mike Reiss or Mike Mayock. They are probably having a chat today about how much of a steal it was to take Stork in the 4th round.

Brady is a still a very good QB is you give him a good pocket. If you don't, he can't scramble AT ALL, so he is just very average. His own team is exposing his weakness. Posters have been begging for a revamped interior O-Line for years.

Every QB is bad when you don't give them a good pocket. However ...

According to @PFF, Brady was 9 of 16 when NOT pressure & both his picks came in those situations #PatriotsTalk

I swear every time they do that, the pass is under thrown and intercepted.

That is the norm for this board. Many are never happy at all with this team, if the roles were reversed and the Patriots won 41-14 there would be complaint threads. I wonder if some people on this board would be better suited to find a new team to "cheer" for.

Complaining about the game is one thing...blaming the coach who has gotten the team to at least the afcc 8 of 14 years is stupidity at its finest

And yes, it is ok to wonder out loud about the capacity of a 37 year old qb as much as anything else

With the success we've had i wonder if there are quite a few bandwagon jumpers here. How many are Brady/BB fans and how many are PAts fans.

Idiotic thread.
