Revis isn't going to resign here with us using him like this.
I'm sure the dude wants a shot at the Hall of Fame and if he spends the rest of his career doing this ****, when he was on his way to becoming one of the best shutdown corners in league history, that isn't going to happen.
Kiss Revis goodbye.
I agree with the larger point, but Darrelle Revis is the CEO of Darelle Revis Inc. He signs with whoever offers him the most money. That just won't be us. We only pay JAGs top dollar. *snark snark*
I agree, and it's very un-Belichick to just get obliterated in the trenches, but here we are. In the past, we've been pretty underwhelming at the so-called skilled positions and have always been one of the slower rosters in terms of overall team speed, but we've won the trenches and we've played smart football. The two lines suck...O and D lines......so when they practice against each other I bet each feels good about themselves....until they step out into an NFL game and get ***** slapped.
I truly don't understand their thinking. They leaned on Blount last season during crunch time and didn't trust Ridley. This year they still don't trust Ridley and lean on a little scat back that can't break a tackle.
Wright and Amendola......space occupiers with no other relevance
Oh well, if we suck, we suck. I've lived through seasons with bad Pats teams before. I just don't want us to suck and still make the playoffs (a real possibility in this division). If we're gonna be bad, let it be a blaze of glory, so we can get into a decent position in the draft. Maybe it'll open a few eyes in the Patriots' brass too.
