The positive is it only counts as one game, same as losing by a point. Probably better because the team and coaching staff needs a slap in the face week at practice. They had horrible injuries last year and overachieved. Looks like they figured they were set this year and have come out flat.
It happens. Happens less to us than other teams, but it's happened before, 2002 (after the unbelievable 2001) is an example.
It's bury the football time.
Time to quit acting like the Oline is an audition and come out and play. We've played well with injuries to the Oline, it's time to get real.
Maybe throw that new fat guy in at DT, or hit the waiver wire. Maybe we can find a vet who's willing to earn 2 1/2 times what the cardinals are paying, you never know.
They've got more than enough talent and their deficiencies artre minor compared to most teams and some of their previous championship teams, but you have to play. Period.
