Once Browner comes back do we go to a lot more man defense? Since that plays into his strength, along with Revis. Tired of this zone crap, it isn't working.

Browner played a ton of zone in Seattle. I think he needs to press to be worth putting on the field, but I don't think it necessarily has to be man coverage.

I disagree with your thread title. Tell us what you're talking about so we know not to click on it.

You talkin 'bout Browner? Is he going to block? Is he going to throw and catch the ball at the same time? ?

Nope. As long as this team can't stop the run it will not be able to go man coverage as much as it would like. DBs and LBs are constantly looking back to play run support.

To effectively play man they need to be able to focus on the receiver and QB and trust the DL to do its job.

Browner is not going to fix this defense. The defense is a disaster. I have never seen anything so terrible. Only drastic change will fix the defense. Somebody needs to get cut or fired.

Guess I could of worded it better but whatever.

Yes, I should have to reach back 20 years to remember such an awful performance....I suppose the 85 superbowl was pretty bad too.

I think we will keep playing the zone but definitely mix in more man to man.
