Good news: Thank god I was on the road while this massacre was happening.

Bad news: I'm going to have to watch the entire game so I don't buy into any of the mediots on what went wrong in the game or what is the problem with the team.

Revis isn't going to resign here with us using him like this.
I'm sure the dude wants a shot at the Hall of Fame and if he spends the rest of his career doing this ****, when he was on his way to becoming one of the best shutdown corners in league history, that isn't going to happen.

Kiss Revis goodbye.

Ain't gonna happen. Coaches suck. They are purposely not putting the players to succeed.

Again, saying something over and over again doesn't make it more likely to be true.

While I certainly agree with your overall thought that Revis hasn't been used properly, Chris Price did a breakdown last week that stated that 4 of his 5 completions were in man coverage, which only one coming in zone. We know that rookie QB Derek Carr surely wasn't intimidated by Revis on the road when the game was on the line, and he saw success in doing so for some significant gains.

I have believed since day one that Revis will weigh the other offers he'll be receiving from teams in the opening days of free agency vs. ours. Many here seem to think that we'll be getting a deal done during this season (after just signing him this spring) without first reassessing his fit. I don't believe that is going to be the case, but we'll have to see.

Second place in the division 75 percent left in the season we can easily right the ship worst game I've seen, there's a lot of issues, but plenty of time to fix the problems I am concerned though at how the coaches are not putting the players in position to succeed.

Last night, the players didn't know what they were doing. That's all of it in a nutshell. It's that more than Mankins, talent, sub-packages, receivers, Revis, Brady, drafting, 4-3, 3-4, etc. There is a lot of thinking and too little reacting. If you're thinking you're not hitting, running, blocking, tackling, the basic elements of the game.

I don't know why the pats don't go back to the no huddle, hurry up game that they have done in the past. With a bad offensive line (right now) it would help wear down the defense and allow Brady to call his own plays and get the ball out quick. I actually think this would help the offense and open up more holes on the opposing defense. Taking our time and lining up with a fullback and 1 wr is not beating anyone, it's worth a shot because the current offense sucks.

Maybe the Stadium noise played a role. Still, that's how I would have opened the second half.

So glad I missed this garbage as I'm at disney...this is the end result of bad drafting, bad player acquisition, and bad management. So depressing to see the pats look horrible in 3/4 games. Some of the fanboys were posting "its one bad game"....have you been watching this season with a bag over your head???? They've played maybe 5 good quarters all season....

maybe they see/think that brady is past his prime and they want everyone else to see/think it too.......so they aren't doing all they can to "help" him

im not convinced of this......but im not *not* convinced either

what say you, joker?

Go listen to some more felger bro

The two lines suck...O and D lines......so when they practice against each other I bet each feels good about themselves....until they step out into an NFL game and get ***** slapped.
I truly don't understand their thinking. They leaned on Blount last season during crunch time and didn't trust Ridley. This year they still don't trust Ridley and lean on a little scat back that can't break a tackle.
Wright and Amendola......space occupiers with no other relevance

This is hard for all of us, but for those of you who became fans since sometime in 2001 it must be excruciating. Forgive me if I don't feel sorry for you.

As for the "now," I'm not ready to write the season off. Until, I have more proof than a lousy start to this season and one really, really, really bad game, I'm going to think of this as a team that is going to win its Division and of Tom Brady as a QB that can still get the job done.

But, putting last night together with the poor showing in their home opener against an Oakland team that got blown out in their own home by the Dolphins, I also have to say that I do not have my head in the sand. It is not out of the question that I will get "more proof" before the Bye.

I would just take our word for it.

The ******** meter in the live thread/post game thread has been almost higher than the brainfarts which got away from Dilfer yesterday. Would not put much credibility into 80% of what is posted there.

admittedly, my speculation is a little silly......and thats why i dont truly believe it

but at least have some "pride" and use your main account

You are not a horrible poster but you get rediculous so frequently. You should stop saying things you don't really believe. That's a textbook troll. As far as me being someone else or this isn't my main account, that's just you being silly again.

- Started all 4 games by going 3 and out
- Started all 4 games trailing by 3-7 points
- Dobson inactive is inexcusable on so many levels
- Play calling and game planning on O is horrid. Makes me sick.

-McDaniels needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY. Every snap played with this guy on our sideline is a waste of time from here on out. The sooner he's gone, the more time we have to turn things around for the remainder of the season. I seriously don't want to wait until the season is over to fire him because that likely means no SuperBowl. I know this wasn't the main catalyst, but look at the Ratbird Ravens in 2012. Fired their sh*t offensive coordinator and went on to win the SuperBowl.

- Running Vereen more than Ridley is just mind boggling

- No excuses for such a talented D playing so poorly. Poor game planning and schemes. Majority of blame goes to the coaches.

to be honest with you.......i wish BB would have done more to help brady here towards the end of his run

but all the talk about brady retiring when he wants to retire......brady will be elite in his 40s........brady is the indisputable goat ( i think he's arguably the goat)........etc

im too weak not to let it make me act like a troll sometimes

and BB has his flaws.......ultimately im a BB homer cause part of me identifies with him on some level.......and i recognize that brady is a good guy.......but for some reason that "personal" connection isnt there as much

I wish bill hit every pick too. I really do. What other football mind would you rather have making these decisions? Please enlighten me Felger. Its amazing how people have so many complaints about a perennial 12-4 team.
