I know that, Kontra. Don't you think BB didn't realize this and get the kid in there for his first taste? I do.Planting seeds...it's what he's always done

It does seem as if foreshadowing what will sooner or later have to happen anyway. Hopefully not like this though.

If BB is worth his salt he should be fully capable of handling TB's final years, and be capable of evaluating whether or not he wants to have one more season with him at the helm. If he's not capable of that, along with Kraft, then the entire organization philosophy comes crashing down. They have to be careful.

A lot of players make concessions to play with the Patriots, none more than Tom himself. If they don't show the respect he deserves, I don't see that luxury continuing.

Hopefully with Browner back next week we will play a more aggressive press coverage type defense. If our offense is going to continue to be bad the defense is going to need to play a lot better.

Why did we play out of the shotgun so much early on? If we don't make teams respect our run game we probably aren't going to move the ball through the air. McDaniels gave up on the run way too quickly.

I want to know where the creative play designs on offense are. I counted one creative play call the entire game.

It might be time for Amendola to take a turn on the inactive list, he isn't giving us anything.

van pelts hot take on ESPN...this is not an abnormality...this could very well be who the pats are all year...bad O with decent D.....i hope not

It's an accurate assessment because that is all the Pats have shown so far this year. Unless they show improvement on the field, they are quite average right now

They barely tried to run.

It's really not complicated. The Pats have a shortage of playmakers, and they have a tendency to overpay for solid players with limited playmaking ability. See Jerod Mayo. Decent player - overpaid. Vince ---> decent player - overpaid. Same for Nink, Amendola (probably not even decent at thus point), Connolly, Arrington (not even decent in my opinion), Vollmer, Wendell, etc.

Also, Jamie Collins is overpaid at whatever he's making. He's brutal.

Get rid of the following please:

Patricia, Mcdaniels, Hightower, Ridley, Arrington, Ryan, Chung, Brady maybe, not sure anymore, I don't like the coordinators for sure and slow running linebackers.........

Wow. Can't even believe what I'm reading on this forum. Some of you should pack your **** and move to Indy.

Put it this way, Brady has been covering Bill's ass for YEARS now. You cannot ask a man at 37 to produce miracles ALL THE TIME. They need to either do what Denver did with Peyton and give him whatever he desires or let Tom go to San Fran and get another ring.

Dobson, LaFell, and Edelman should have been active. Dobson should have been active over Amendola. What a failure not retaining Welker and bringing him in has been.

I dunno, I don't think failing to retain Welker has been a problem. I think the problem was entirely in how they chose to replace him. Amendola isn't the guy, unfortunately.

Edelman, LaFell, Dobson and Thompkins should all be active. If that means 5 active WRs, so be it. If it means 4 with amendola inactive, so be it.

Mc Daniels or who ever the hell is calling the plays, don't want to start a riot with the McDaniel supporters, always gives up the run too early. Not running Ridley over Vereen is also another mystery waiting to be solved.

I look at our defense and it's mind boggling that they got destroyed the way the did tonight.

Our DL consist of Wilfork and Jones who are close to elite defenders.

LBs include Mayo and Hightower who are also above average defenders.

And our DBs, even with Chung back there still rate pretty high.

Why on earth were they playing read and react and letting the Chiefs offense dictate when they had the ball? Revis playing off the LOS against a slow big bodied receiver like Bowe was ridiculous. He should have been press on Bowe the whole night.

I blame Patricia on this debacle. The guy is overmatched against smart OC's. BB can't do everything when he's trying to lead the entire team but he's gotta realize Patricia is just not a championship DC.

Conspicuously absent is Brady

But if what you say is true, then Brady needs to go so this team can be rebuilt

Remember how the fans for KC were tonight. If Brady and co. come out slow, CIN can here Dalton drop a pin, but the offense gets booed then what can you say about the entire organization, including us?

worse than i ever imagined....we got KILLED.

" Patriots should sign Incognito tomorrow but only if he promises to be same screaming lunatic he was in Miami. Pats could use the insanity"..gerry callahan.

i agree with gerry. the line blows, get some toughness with ritchie!

THIS.

Last season was Brady's last gasp at covering up for Belichick's ********, his obsession with Rutger JAG's, his arrogance. I've never said a single thing bad about Belichick in my entire life, but I'll start throwing molotovs when it comes down to arguments between who here deserves more #%$@ing blame.

Brady is the one who has been taking pay cuts to play with JAGs, orchestrate miracles with nobodies, and carry his GM craziness to Superbowls and three consecutive AFC Championships.

KC was trying to set the Guiness Decibel Level record tonight. If you are the visiting team in THIS atmosphere, you need your QB to run a silent count, 4 WR hurry up offense, get the rhythm and run the Chiefs line ragged. McDaniels opted to do the exact opposite.

I mean, we all watched it. WHAT THE FLYING YOU KNOW WHAT was THAT? A mistake? There's something fishy going on inside the staff on this team, I'm convinced of it.

I think in all the brady and offense talk, the more bigger issue tonite for me was the defense. So many 1st rounders, supposedly better defense in years and they played really terrible. I wont blame patricia. He is running BB's defense .
Offensively, we outcoached ourselves today. Instead of lining up and running the ball with 4 backs and 3 TEs we went 3 WR package trying to outthink the chiefs. Our roster isnt great but they need to simplify this offense instead of forcefeeding people to learn it as they want it.

Jeter could play QB next Sunday. He's available...LOL!!!

Fantastically written, perfect anger and it's all merited. Bill is on the hot seat for me with his questionable staff, drafting, free agency moves.

I dont know . Its hard for me to believe BB will compromise a win vs doing something like a long term diabolical plan.
Somtimes the simple explanation is that they are just bad players combined with stupid coaching.
