Patriots v Chiefs Post-Game Thread

This whole team is lethargic. Even Bill is. It's like everyone's fire is gone.

1. BB the GM has really hurt this team.

2. Brady isn't the QB he was from 07-12.

This was not the normal once-a-year Pats brain fart loss. This was bigger than that. Anyone who can't see this for the beginning of the end is in denial.

I was around the Dark Days, and I've never been fatalistic about Pats blow out losses before, but this was different. There was no hope in this one. This team is just not good and it shows no signs of getting better. You can point fingers everywhere, it doesn't matter. This is a 9-7 team. That's just reality.

I've never been a McDaniels fan, tonight was just comical though. Bring 3 wr, 4te, 5 rb (one of which have been deativated every game so far) to the game, against one of the worst rushing ds that is depleted, looks like they're planning on running it early and often right!

Moving my prediction from12-4 to 10-6 and that will still get us a home playoff game. But a first round bye this year? no way

We'll have to see how the team responds next week. If they come out and play angry, that'll be a nice statement. If it's another loss, reality will begin settling in.

Darkest before the dawn. I can't connect to this situation in football terms, but I have definitely in my archery career. Sometimes it takes an absolute breakdown to get back on track. I have had times where I just lived off the past, thinking oh I will get it done like before. Until finally you hit rock bottom. That's what this pats team has done.

All I know, is this team needs to do some deep reflection and accept their mistakes. If they can't accept they aren't a playoff team right now, then they won't get better.

Steve young and dilfer trying to create QB contriversy. Say they never seen tom brady come out of agame like tha.t...they forget the Saints game

well, we'll find out soon enough. When has Brady ever come out after a pick 6? He's being isolated on purpose.

I know parry is flag happy, but you can't just give up your D philosophy because of a ref

Offense is worse than last year. But we already knew that.

Tonight we found out that the defense is worse than last year too.

Cincy is going to rape us next week, and they'll be going in dry.

This bringing up 2003 as a reference is ridiculous. That was 11 years ago people. This is NOT THE SAME. The Pats are simply not good enough. The 2003 Pats had veteran leaders everywhere on the offense and defense. Those leaders are not in the locker room and aren't coming through the door anytime soon. This is not the same team... ALL of the players other than Tom and Vince weren't on the SB winning teams. Mentally we will see how tough these kids are...

This is very worrisome because this doesn't look like the same team we've seen in the past decade, this looks like a team that has no heart, no pride outside of a few.

Agree. This has never happened...if he took himself out..we have some major problems.
