Steve Young is dropping facts about the Patriots on SportsCenter right now

Wish I could record this.

edit:

Sorry, I'm not a transcriber but here I'll go...

Basically, he's saying exactly what Brady probably feels.

No help on the o-line, no help downfield. "The Patriots have left him naked" ... Admits that yes, he's not playing the greatest but it's not his fault it's THIS bad. Also points out how Brady's been practically carrying this team for 4 years now and has been doing more with less, more than any other QB ever has.

-----

Not trying to sound like a Brady ball-washer (I'm usually argumentative from a team perspective, not for 1 player.) But Young took the words out of my mouth. I'm just glad someone in the media has finally said what he did.

Are we talking facts like Brady's decision making has gone south? Or the coordinators aren't doing a good job? The line coach is getting the QB killed? The receivers aren't brilliant by any stretch?

At least post what he's saying.

That was a good post... how about providing at least a vague transcript.

Steve Young is dropping (a narrative carefully written prior to the game in case the Patriots lost and played poorly that his colleagues will then debate) on SportsCenter right now

Just wanted to make sure we don't confuse ESPN with a medium that provides "facts"

FOr anyone that is watching the post game show knows what I'm saying.

Brady has been doing more with less for far too long.

He had a big rant in the pre game show too. They are wasting the final years of Brady

I don't think anyone has ESPN on anymore...

Basically how brady is playing with a bottom 5 line and **** weapons @ 37 and fans and coaches are expecting the same level of play. He could carry jags in 2006. He can't carry a terrible Oline and jags @ 37.

37 year old QB's miss throws, they evade rushers in the pocket a little less also. This isn't news. For him to have the weapons and line he does is a complete joke. His level of play is still better than this.

Belichick's ****ty GM'ing is a much bigger part of the equation in my opinion. Brady has covered holes in bad teams for a while now.

So are you going to describe these facts that he's dropping?

The day Brady has Manning's line and receivers and plays bad...

Is the day I will say he's done. As long as we have this mediocre of a supporting cast i am not going to ever doubt the greatness of Brady who was leading impossible comebacks with no names less than a season ago.

GET THE MAN SOME WEAPONS BILL!

I know I will get killed for this but Brady is looking like Marino in the end.

THANK YOU, TOM IS NOT THE PROBLEM

Keep your head in the sand all you want, he's a part of the problem.

Putting the ball where a 6'5" receiver would bring it in for Julian Edelman, those 2 picks, not going for the first down with a 3 yard scramble, forcing it into double coverage when the underneath guy is wide open for a first down.

All the above are things Tom Brady of old doesn't do. The guy is either playing hurt or fallen off the cliff.

Yeah, the receivers aren't the best but that isn't the sole problem.

Agree 100%. They gave him nothing and have 14 mill in cap they didn't spend

Brady played poorly tonight for sure. I was vexed when he did not scramble for the first with all that green in front of him.

This team is not the New England Bradys, it's the New England Patriots. What Brady or anyone else thinks about his weapons is irrelevant to me. This was an Air Brady team for the past 7 years, how has that worked out?

The more pressing concern is what the hell happened to this team's supposedly improved defense and why a BB defense got completely laid to waste tonight. That bothers me a lot more than BRady's stats.

I have the same employer as Toms wife( one of her employers) and she says the same thing. I'm sure Tom hears her out and it messes with his concentration. She doesn't seem to care much for Bill but who knows

steve thinks something is up with the brady sitting thing....doesn't sit right he is right

Pick 6 you don't come out he is right.....
