The Official Patriots vs Chiefs Game Thread

I would like to recant my earlier post of how I thought we would smoke the Chiefs. It's only half time, but I do think I may have miss spoke. I would like to re-evaluate my position. It appears we'll only win by a field goal. Sorry about that.

I have no faith in this team for the 2nd half. Brady has been forcing throws and he has more time than the last game. Develin is perpetually open in the flat.

at least our o line has been great.

hmmm suddenly we dont look that bad.... err no we looked pretty bad, lol

It doesn't exist. Patricia and Belichick have, thus far, been running a defense you would think that we would run for a more competent offense. Little to no blizing to move Smith off his spot and very little use of press coverage (I think this is due to Logan Ryan starting). Also, Kansas City is loving these sweeps. They are not concerned at all with the speed of our LB's.
what speed?

Once again the offense puts up a way below average performance. Zero points at halftime. Until the patriots front office decides to invest in playmakers that can help out Brady, we will not win another championship. Offensive line looks fine tonight, receivers can't get separation. I think Lafell and Amendola would be cut from most rosters in the NFL.

Pats total yards: 96
Chiefs: 303

Wow.

Ladies and gents, we've come back from worse. It's halftime. Not a pretty halftime but halftime none the less.

Yes we have but those games were in Foxboro not in this place. Won't be easy...

Everyone needs to clam down. There have been teams that have looked far worse during the season and made the super bowl.

The Giants and cardinals come to mind.

at least our o line has been great.

They have been. The receivers are having a world of difficulty getting open and Edelman is being doubled.

No playing around next game. We need Dobson back so he can develop.

That hurts:

ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo
Tom Brady has completed only 43% of throws more than 5 yards this season, second-worst in the league behind EJ Manuel, who was benched today

So the offensive line is protecting Brady well.

That was 3 points via the Refs. The Chiefs stupidly pissed away 3 and the refs gave it back to them. The Chiefs have been grabbing and holding quite a bit, however, I'm ok with it not being flagged. But to then flag that absolutely marginal hands to the face....and give them the 3 back that they stupidly pissed away? That was just wrong

How can our offense be JAX/OAK bad with Brady?

Because a team isn't just about one player.
That offence is putrid.
It speaks volumes about the personnel decisions made in the offseason.

This team is DOA.
Goodbye Patriots dynasty, goodbye golden years.
Gentlemen, I ask that we take a moment of silence in respect of what we had.
