Sunday’s NFL Games (week 4)

Bridgewater & Bortles playing well so far.

IDK, half this board won't give Aaron Dobson the same leeway and he was a second round pick and more productive as a WR his rookie year. And I think Dobson may have more upside as a receiver.
Dobson has been a healthy scratch 2 of 3 games this season. That is why people are not giving a lot leeway, he is taking the Jake Bequette path suddenly.

Except he's not really 100% healthy..............

Hightower could develop into a better more complete Ahmad Brooks.

Falcons D couldn't stop a kindergarten class

LOL! You got me there. Dobson showed absolutely nothing in minicamp, training camp, and most of the preseason. He sucks!

The guy is coming off of major foot surgery and was not a healthy scratch. He is coming back from a major injury and they don't think he is ready. Hopefully, he will be tomorrow night.

Not this excuse again...there are no reports of this...none...there is no point making a random conjecture just to feel better and have some hope that he will turn into viable starter this season...

I'd never tire of punching Jim Harbaugh's stupid face over and over and over......self-entitled ****.

Bridgewater & Bortles playing well so far.

Mariucci said in his bold prediction that the 3 rookies would outplay the other QBs in their games.

Whiffed on Carr but Bridgewater and Bortles making that bold prediction interesting right now

He is not on the injury report.

How many times do we have to go over this? He is a fast outside receiver coming off a major foot injury. He may be healthy enough to practice fully (hence he would not be on the injury report), but not healthy enough to run at full speed or plant his foot properly to run good routes.

And there is a difference between being healthy and game ready coming back from an injury.

Anquan Boldin though......gutted we couldn't get him. What a player, still.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Dobson has better receiver skills than Patterson. If anyone paid attention last season he was definitely showing signs of being able to produce at a high level before being injured. Believe it or not, he has terrific hands based on some of the Marshall games I watched. He just got labelled Dropson after his first couple of games. Problem is the age old if you can't get on the field, you can't play/prove yourself.

Hopefully we will see a healthy Dobson tomorrow. They sure could use a boost right now and I think he may be the spark they need. He is going to see a lot of single coverage while playing with Edelman and Gronkowski. Dobson is the one threat on the outside that gain separation. Ideally you put those 3 out there with Vereen and that should get the passing game going.

I didn't know we went over it at all. I think you often make excuses for things by leaning on a particular circumstance in pure speculation. As long as his foot is structurally sound it is just pain management and would not restrict his ability to play in an adrenaline filled game.

For what it Is worth I don't fault Dobson at all, I fault the coaching staff for drawing straws before the game to see who the active WRs will be. Dobson needs to play and right now they are ****ing with his development and confidence, not a good approach to managing young talent.

Mike Smith being embarrassed at the end of the first half by Zimmer. Vikes might score again after some awful decision making and clock-management. Bridgewater looking superb so far.

And the Vikes do score - McKinnon TD. That's all on your HC Falcons.

Both Bridgewater and Bortles are playing really good...

Why the f*ck did they not start them from the beginning of the season?

And on the Texan radio broadcast today they were talking about how Andre Johnson has a bad case of the dropsies during his rookie season. Most posters here would have cut him for that.

TD San Diego.
