[Edited Title] Clipped Brady Wednesday Presser.....

Sounds like a bad day of practice. O line is probably pissing him off.

Press conferences are prior to practices.

There is friction over mankins trade, not putting enough resources into oline and WRs or at least right places with WRs. The drafting of garappollo with a round2 pick when there were other needs. Especially when he wants to play and Grapps is the hopeful replacement after bill made a comment he wants to prove he can win a superbowl without Him. Brady is beyond pi$$ed right now. Matter of fact rumors could probably surface soon the Bill knows not to yell at him in practice these days ;)

Well, if he weren't beaten like a pineta for 3 straight weeks, I'd agree. The problem is belichick doesn't listen to anyone not named bill belichick, not even his star QB.

Revis said:
One thing that has surprised Revis the most is how Belichick relates to his players. For some, the external view of Belichick is that he has his system and it is up to the players to mold themselves to it. Revis says that isn’t true.

What he’s learned is that Belichick is willing to listen to his players. If they think something else might work better, he’ll take their advice into consideration and perhaps implement it.

“Bill asks questions,” Revis said. “He'll ask questions, he'll try to get other people's insight, especially veterans. He'll sit down and have a conversation with you. I think that's why he's so genius at what he does. He's very smart, but at the same time he knows the pulse of the team."

There are numerous accounts of Belichick seeking advice and knowledge from anywhere he can find it. The Revis quote is very much in keeping with what many others have shared of their interactions with Belichick.

BB probably had them doing 10 minutes worth of laps

Correct. Everyone knows, or should know that, as you say, "the problem is Belichick." You're entitled to your opinion, for sure.

Stop it right now. Don't let the truth interfere with incorrect popular opinion.

Just watched his press conference and looked like the same old Tom to me....gracious with plenty of smiles.

So if that's what Shalize calls a growl, how does she describe Belichick.

If he's still moping around about that then a lot of us have seriously misjudged him.

Brady has been a patriot team first player since day one. He never spoke up when they traded his number #1 in Branch and had crap receivers like Childress, Gabriel and Caldwell (BTW patriots would have 100% won the superbowl that year if they had Branch) He never spoke up when they traded Welker, even though restructured his own deal to free up cap space. He has done this more than once) and BB never provided him with an adequate replacement.

Now at age 37 they traded Mankins, he is getting his ass beat every game because the line is garbage and for the second year in a row he is left with unproven/weak receivers such as Lafell, Dobson and Thompkins. I don’t even have to mention that the part are like 10m under the salary cap. I am not going to sit here and feel bad for Brady since he has the life that every single one of us can only dream. Maybe Brady has reached a point where he is no longer happy the way this team is being run?

tom, take out your anger on the chiefs defense!

go pats

I understand your viewpoint. But, we really don't know if he spoke up when his pals were let go. We only know he didn't publicly. Tom Brady is my favorite player of all time and no one is a close second. With that said, running the team isn't his or any other player's role. I'd argue that part of the reason this has been the winningest franchise this century is that BB and Kraft don't involve players in decision-making, despite the fact that other teams clearly do. I'm sure that there are times when all players, Brady included, are displeased with team decisions. When that happens, they all need to make a quality of life decision and either stay or go.

He probably had to sit in an ice tub and heal all of the bruises that he's accumulated through the first three weeks of the season. You'd be a grouchy Gus too. :)
I hope he's not "Loosing feeling in his toes"

Branch breached his contract. If this board had it's way, Willie McGinest and Lawyer Milloy would still be playing. Is Mankins even healthy? I'm sure Tampa is going to be thrilled to pay him 5-8 million a year for the foreseeable future and I say good luck with that.

Oakland's holding on to those seasoned vets, how's that strategy working out?

After watching TFB press interview I believe he might have been sick. Given his mannerisms and just the way he looked. That is probably why they cut it short.

Even if Branch breached his contact BB still could have brought he back that season. In fact it does not seem either of them had many hard feeling because Branch came back here. I have no issues with letting some vets go but they should have kept Mankins because I don't think the line could be any worse with him. Plus Tampa could cut him next year if Mankins next season if they want to save money. Still, this does not address why BB has not upgraded the receivers this season,

Holding on to vets is only part of the problem for the Raiders. The Al Davis era and their awful trades and draft picks (mostly the Qbs they pick) and how they hire and fire coaches every other year is also a huge part of the equation.

Ensoul, it would help if you got facts correct. They NEVER traded welker. He was let go and chose to leave the team.

Tom may have some ill feelings but he will never show them or tell bb. Brady is the QB of the team and lead, nothing more, nothing less. He has no say in transactions or business side of the game. Tom may be mad that he can't get the protection to use all his weapons and deploy a top 5 offense. But Tom makes no business decisions. He is just a QB and leader doing his job. Players may feel mad, but if they can't get over it they might as well tell bb and be traded or quit the team. Winning doesn't always keep your best buds on the team and if you can't separate that here, might as well leave the team IMO.

I just watched part of that conference and if that's a pissed off Tom to a reporter, they got a lot of problems. Tom seemed like his usual self grinning, smiling and laughing
